Felix stands in the kitchen, leaning on the island while eating mint chocolate chip ice cream with a big spoon. He isn't thinking of anything in particular, which is nothing new.
Suddenly, an odd thought comes to his head. He brings his phone in front of his eyes, clicking on Google and typing, 'how long does it take to count to a billion?'
The answer isn't what he expects. It says something about 31 years.
"What the fuck? That doesn't even make sense. You can count to one hundred in like two minutes," he says outloud, arguing with his brain for the next ten minutes.
Swiping to his contacts, he calls his boyfriend. The shorter male picks up after three rings, answering with a sweet, "hello?"
"Okay, think about this. It takes like two minutes to count to one hundred, right?"
Changbin sighs to himself, already seeing where this was going, "right."
"I looked up how long it takes to count to a billion, and it said 31 years. How the fuck does it take that long? It makes no sense," Felix complains, scooping up ice cream to his mouth.
"I don't know, babe. Why don't you count it?"
"Hm... nah, that would take too long, and I don't have enough patience for that," Felix shrugs, being too lazy for something like that.
"Okay, well what do you want me to say then?" Changbin questions, slightly amused.
"I don't know," he giggles, "I'm gonna call Jisung real quick. Love you!"

"JISUNG!" Felix yells into the phone, "I can hear myself thinking, but it's not my voice. Like, there's no voice when I think, but I'm talking inside my head, but it's not me."
"Oh my god, what?" Jisung stays silent for a few seconds, "OH MY GOD, FELIX. I CAN'T HEAR MYSELF THINKING BUT I KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING."
"And you know how you are trying to not think about something, so you think about another thing, but you are still thinking about that other thing that you're trying not to think about?"
"Stop, oh my god," he gasps, "no, that's so weird! Are you high? I'm coming over. We need to have a talk."
"I'm not high, yet, but I don't need to be because that would only make my random thoughts worse. Come over. I need someone to think with."
