"Stay safe and have an amazing time, okay? You deserve this Quinn" Rosalie ushered as she hugged her sister tightly. They were dropping Carlisle and Quinn off at the airport, however, despite how bitter it felt for the Cullens to disperse after the time together, it was sweet because they knew they would inevitably reunite once more.
"Thank you, Rosie. You and Emmett enjoy London, okay?" she giggled, overly excited to be going travelling with the love of her life, but she was containing the excitement, for the sake of goodbyes. Alice and Jasper were away to France already and Esme and Edward were staying in Alaska.
"You guys have fun. But not too much fun. Don't do anything I wouldn't do" Emmett ranted on and Quinn merely rolled her eyes as she hugged him before rejoining Carlisle's side.
"So... We can do anything then?" she teased and he scoffed but ignored that particular jab as the final goodbyes were bid and Carlisle and Quinn were off through the airport together- hand in hand. They were oblivious to the glances that people around them sent because they were just happy. "Where are we going Carlisle?" she smiled, wrapping her arm around his waist as they walked and he looked down at her.
"It's a secret," he smiled.
"Don't pretend I couldn't find out if I really wanted to, Carlisle" she laughed and he chuckled.
"I love you, Quinn. I don't know how long we have now before the new house is built. But I know for certain that we have long enough for me to give you at least a snapshot of the life you deserve. You are my life now Quinn." Carlisle pressed a kiss to her forehead.
"Carlisle. I don't know what I did to deserve you" her voice was in almost a state of awe and he merely smiled.
"You will be okay? On the plane? You've fed?" Carlisle's concern for her only made Quinn smile, he was sweet.
"I'm practically sloshy, Carlisle" she giggled sweetly and he marvelled in the sound. "Edward is to blame for that one."
"Let's sit down while we wait. Like normal people" he teased, enjoying the sound of her laugh and the sight of her smile and she followed him over to the plastic seats, adjusting her brown-blonde curls around her shoulders as she shifted the expensive coat around her body. "I hope you enjoy what I have planned, Quinn"
"I am positive I will Carlisle" she reached up to press a kiss to his lips and he accepted it calmly where they sat together.
"Esme and Jack seem happy." the man made conversation easily.
"They certainly seemed happy when I walked in on them kissing in the kitchen" Quinn returned with a cheeky smile and he turned to her in horror, eyes wide.
"Really?!" she didn't know why he whispered his response, but it made it much more comical. Carlisle was like a teenage girl with gossip, he loved it but always pretended he didn't.
"Really. But I promised not to tell anyone so shh" Quinn laughed and he chuckled.
"Your secrets are safe with me Darling. Besides, who am I supposed to tell? Airport security? I'm on holiday with you."
"True" she laughed, something she had been doing a lot that day. She was the most excited she had ever been...
