"Tried to walk and chew gum at the same time again, Bella?" Emmett teased as he approached the group in the dining room and Carlisle smiled tightly, wrapping Bella's wrist firmly. Edward- stood beside the broken brunette was busy staring at the blonde vampire in the room instead. Quinn stared at the laptop in front of her as if her mere gaze alone would obliterate it- she was frozen, still as a statue as she stared at the email Gabby had sent her. Attached were his videos and she was too afraid to even click the button and take a look at what she already knew she would find.

"I punched a werewolf in the face," Bella responded with a small smile and Emmett chuckled- much to Edwards displeasure.

"Badass.. You're going to be one tough little newborn" he mocked and Edward rolled his eyes, walking away from his girlfriend's side to take a seat beside Quinn at the dining room table, his best friend merely looked at him but a thousand thoughts spread through her mind as she did and he caught them all, smiling gently in reassurance. As much as Quinn wanted to involve herself in the conversation at hand around her, she didn't care. Bella punching Jacob because he stepped out of line was the least of her worries and Quinn swallowed hard, once, unnecessarily as she clicked on one of the videos- plugging the earphones into her sensitive ears as she did so.

As if noticing the cue, Edward stood- patting her gently on the back once before escorting Bella from the room- Ushering Emmett with his eyes to follow. With the room empty, Quinn took in the scene on the laptop with clear eyes, frozen as Carlisle looked over at her from where he sat on the table across from her.

"Watch it with me?" her eyes didn't move but her lips did. She knew that what was in the video wouldn't be pretty, she had lived through it. But she needed someone to hold her hand and watch it with her. And she needed to watch them, Gabby had watched them- a few others too. It was important to see what they were. Rounding the table silently, Carlisle took a seat beside the love of her life and held her hand gently- Nervously.

"Quinn, just-- Know that this doesn't change anything. No matter what is in those videos, I will always love you" he reassured and it was what she needed to hear the most as she threads her fingers through his and clicked the spacebar once, pressing play on the video. The video wasn't at all what she expected to see and the sight of it horrified her more than anything else could've. The first video- Was of her bathroom and Quinn felt emotion flood her in a wave as she watched seventeen-year-old Quinn run a sponge over her body in the bathtub.

"I didn't-" she closed her eyes, breathing deeply for a second. "I didn't realise he had cameras in my room— I should've— I don't even... there are twenty more videos Carlisle. And that's not even all of them." She breathed in pure pain and Carlisle looked at her, eyes black with anger, fist clenched but he breathed deeply to calm himself. Reaching across, he turned the laptop of quickly and she frowned before turning to him.

"You don't need to relive these moments Quinn, I will love you forever. You've started your new life, all you have to do is meet your step-sister and tell her that you aren't happy for these videos to be used and it will all be over... Or you can let them be used, and you can fight this. I will be at your side no matter what you choose to do. I won't pretend to know what you've been through Quinn... But I will be here to listen to you, no matter what you want to say and equally, I am here to hold you if you won't want to say anything at all. " His voice was so calming and she couldn't help but feel so much better. Carlisle had always known exactly what to say to make her feel better and she went to him easily- wrapping her arms around him as she took a seat on his lap, breathing in his heavenly scent. It was then, in his arms as he drew patterns calmly on her arm, that Quinn O'Connell realised how much she trusted the man that held her.

It didn't matter what the monster Jensen Hargreaves did because Quinn had finally found happiness and belonging with Carlisle Cullen and he accepted her and all the pain she brought along. Carlisle Cullen was a patient man, he was exactly what she needed at that moment and always.

"I just want it all to be over and done with... I want to be with you and the others... I just want the nightmare to be over already. I want to marry you." she implored and he smiled.

"Quinn, we can get married whenever you'd like. If we speak to Alice... We can get a wedding ready in less than a month" he chuckled and she smiled, resting her head in his neck.

"I don't have anyone to invite, Carlisle" and it was the thing that had been eating at her the entire time they'd discussed weddings since the very first day. It had to be special because Carlisle was a traditional man and a wedding meant a lot to him... But there would be nobody sat on her side of the room. Carlisle held her tighter when she said that, leaning in softly to whisper in her ear sweetly.

"Quinn, my darling. We could get married in front of an audience of empty chairs and I would love it all the same. You have a family, we are your family. And we can wait if you'd like. We can wait decades before we get married, there is no rush." and it calmed her. He calmed her.
