The weather was absolutely beautiful that day, the sun sparkling down brightly and turning the entire wedding party into stunning arrays of sunshine. The sparkle of her skin reflected off of her dress and made her seem to shimmer impossibly more gorgeous. But it didn't matter, as they made their way to the stunning waterfall in the sun- because only the supernatural were in attendance. Quinn O'Connell and Carlisle Cullen would be joined that day in holy matrimony and the nerves that coursed through her made her feel like her heart could possibly restart from the juddering of her nervousness.
"You look absolutely beautiful" his voice promised and she almost jumped in shock as she whipped around to face where he now stood beside her in the shadow of the trees. Edward Cullen grinned when his golden eyes met hers.
"Edward?"
"What kind of a backup soulmate would I be if I let you walk down the aisle on your own?" he teased and she sighed with a small smile. "Don't worry, Quinn... Everything is going to be okay now... You're okay now. And you're never going to be alone, not ever again. You have Carlisle and you have me. I might not know what Aro really meant by a backup soulmate... But I promise to be the best one" he chuckled and she giggled as she took his arm gently.
"Thank you, Edward."
"Anything for you, Quinn... Ready?"
"Ready" she breathed as the two of them stepped out from the trees, into the meadow by the waterfall where Carlisle and Quinn had spent so many long days. They were originally going to have a traditional wedding but now, as she walked through the flowers with Edward at her side- She knew that this was absolutely perfect.
The second Quinn's eyes met his- nobody else existed. The second their eyes met- they both smiled brilliantly and any nerves vanished in a snap. Quinn and Carlisle were made for one another and that day, as he gently took her hand- They were complete. The ceremony was short- given by Eleazar Denali but it didn't matter as Quinn grinned at her soulmate and they were finally joined.
"Quinn Grace O'Connell, you are my missing piece, you complete me. Night and day; you are the one, Only you ...Beneath the moon and the stars. You are my reason for existing- You are the person I was created for. You have made every fragment of life so marvellously magnificent. And I promise to love you from this day... That day, as the sun beat down in furious intensity- Carlisle Cullen and Quinn O'Connell became husband and wife and as her lips pressed to his passionately for the first time as a married couple- She knew that life couldn't possibly get any better than that...
