Quinn laughed as she brushed through Bella's hair, her face painted a sparkly blue from a facemask that would do absolutely nothing to her complexion but she didn't want Bella to do it alone, it made it a lot less fun. It had been a pamper evening and the two of them were perfectly content with that. The brunette girl had packed up nearly everything she owned into boxes and so as Quinn proceeded to paint her nails a pretty nude colour, they used a box to lean on.

"Are you excited for tomorrow?" the vampire made small talk and Bella considered the question seriously for a long moment before she answered, having vowed to never lie to the blonde girl who she saw as a sister.

"I'm more nervous than anything else."

"What has you feeling nervous?" Quinn wondered as she smiled up at the girl through her blue facemask, the sight of it was slightly comical on the vampire's pale skin but Bella didn't laugh because she appreciated everything that they blonde girl had done and was still currently doing for her.

"What if it all ends in disaster? What if I fall over?" Bella panicked in a stream of worry and Quinn listened calmly to each of her woes. "Everyone is going to be watching me"

"It is your special day Bella and everyone has been invited for you and Edward, they are all your friends and family. Nothing bad is going to happen. You will have Charlie holding you up all the way down the aisle, and then you'll have Edward. If something bad was going to happen, don't you think Alice would've seen it by now?" the blonde girl soothed her and Bella couldn't help but smile at her in return.

"How are you and Carlisle? I feel... I feel like every time you and I talk, it's about Edward... We never talk about you," Bella questioned softly, watching with intent eyes as Quinn painted each of her nails immaculately.

"Carlisle and I are happy Bella. He makes me happier than I have ever been... I'm sure you can understand that" the blonde winked and Bella nodded shyly.

"I'm sorry... That you won't be able to be with him tomorrow. I wish people weren't so prejudiced against who you love" she sighed and Quinn responded instantly.

"People will be against Carlisle and I because they don't understand Bella, to them, I am a nineteen-year-old who is dating the local town doctor... Father of people my own age. I understand it and so does Carlisle, it is just one of those things that you have to accept." she smiled tightly and the brunette returned it. "But it isn't a problem, soon we will be moving on, to Oregon"

"Oregon?"

"Yep," Quinn giggled with a grin. "Not too far away, an eight-hour drive but the house has been ready for a year now. Esme is getting carried away... Speaking of" Quinn nodded seriously. "Are you ready, to say your goodbyes?"

"I--I think so. For a long time, I have known that it is something I have to do, to keep them safe. It's just... Harder than I expected." Bella sighed, closing her eyes tightly for a second.

"It will all be okay, Bella. I promise" Quinn smiled, patting her hand to indicate that she was finished with applying the polish. "You need to wash off that face mask before Edward comes."

"Edwards coming?" she frowned and Quinn hummed.

"Yes, apparently he wants to speak to you once more before he meets you at the alter" Quinn winked and Bella smiled shyly, blushing just at the thought. "I am going to head off now but make sure you get lots of beauty sleep or Alice will kill us both before we even get the chance to see a single bouquet."

"Thank you, Quinn, for everything."

"You are more than welcome Bella, we are sisters now, remember?" she grinned as they washed off their masks together and Quinn left quickly afterwards. Alice's car was brilliant to drive and when Quinn finally found herself back at the Cullen house- where wedding preparations were very much continuing, she had a bright grin on her lips.

"Hello, Beautiful" Carlisle greeted as she entered the house and she frowned as she approached him, linking her fingers behind his neck as they hugged.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with the boys?" Quinn wondered and Carlisle merely shrugged.

"I think they'll have more fun without you" he whispered and she frowned as she pushed onto her tiptoes to kiss him.

"I hardly think that's possible."

"Okay, okay, enough of that" Alice demanded as she barrelled into the room. "We have things to do, there's no time for kissing right now. Carlisle, I need you to help Rosalie with the chairs, Quinn you're helping me with all the makeup, we need everything in order before Bella gets here tomorrow. I want this wedding going without a single hitch" Alice demanded, wagging her finger between them and the couple exchanged exasperated sighs as they broke apart. They were very much used to Alice's insistence by now.

"Come on Quinn, have you even tried on your dress yet?" she demanded and Quinn rolled her eyes as she was dragged through the house.

"Alice, I'm a vampire, I haven't exactly put on weight since the last time I tried it on" she sighed but the seer was having none of it.

"You are the best woman Quinn! You need to look perfect and it's the first time anyone has really seen you since you turned. Have you fed? You need to be fully fed before you spend the day with the humans."

"I'm fine Alice" she sighed.
