Silence weighed heavily on the wood and stone of the Cullen mansion on that crisp mid-winter night, the fluttering, hammering demand of Isabella Cullen's heart being the only sound to grace their ears blissfully as a new sense of happiness flowed through them collectively. And as Quinn's now-sparkling golden eyes assessed the trees for the millionth time, as if possibly they'd have changed since her last glance, she smiled. Soon, Isabella would join her in immortality and nothing had ever suited her happiness so greatly. The Cullen family was whole, and somehow the three wolves on the porch added to that.

"Quinn" Edward had brought her into that life happily, accepted her into his family before he even knew her and that was why, at every possible moment- she fought so valiantly for him. Somehow, somewhere along the line- Edward and Quinn had developed the most impossibly strong connection. Nobody would ever understand Quinn like Edward did- not even Carlisle and nobody, not even Bella, would ever be able to accept Edward as Quinn did. Perhaps it was their impossibly similar powers, or perhaps it was something more.

"Edward" she breathed, the calm that flowed through her was something she'd never previously felt before. Because one can only ever experience complete calm, after a period of complete stress and on that night, as Carlisle did a final scan of the seemingly sleeping Bella Cullen, they were in a state of calm.

"There's someone that would like to meet you" he breathed and she smiled tightly, watching his reflection in the glass as he approached with a sleeping bundle in his arms. The second Edward had laid eyes on his sweet daughter, he'd fallen utterly in love with her and everything that Bella had done since they'd discovered their child's existence, suddenly made perfect sense to him. Renesmee Cullen became the third person in the world that Edward lived for.

"Quinn" he breathed, clearly reading her mind- something he couldn't help but do, even as he tried not to. "You're afraid to look at her... Because you're scared that when you do... You will want a child of your own." Edward acknowledged her thoughts with a frown.

"It will make no difference, Edward. If I want children. This is my life now, and I love it. I have a family that I love, a fiance that I love. A best friend that I love. I have more than enough love already" she breathed as she finally turned to him with a tight smile. "And now, a niece. Who I will love."

"Actually" Edward chuckled as he approached, showing Quinn the sweet baby as he walked right over to her. "You have a God-daughter" he breathed and she froze, blinking in shock as she looked up at him with wide eyes and he grinned. "Our family is screwed up already, Quinn. The dynamic will always be confused. Carlisle is a grandfather today but you... You will be her God-mother. If you would like?"

"Thank you, Edward" she breathed as she took the bundle into her arms and as she did, her worries were put to rest. The family she had was already more than enough for her. The baby just completed the group.

"Who better than my third favourite woman" he teased and she glared at him as she held the baby expertly.

"I'll be sure to tell the others that you said that" she winked and he chuckled.

"Don't lie, I'm your second favourite male" he mocked and she scoffed, rolling her eyes as she looked over the gorgeous baby in her arms.

"Thank goodness you take after your mother, baby girl. Or your head would be supremely large" Quinn cooed to the bundle in her arms and Edward laughed, waking the girl in Quinn's arms though the sweet child didn't cry, she just batted her beautiful doe eyes at her God-mother, taking in her face with her fresh eyes for the very first time as if she was the most interesting thing in the world.

"She thinks you're beautiful" Edward stated calmly, finding his babies mind to be the most mesmerising thing in the world. Renesmee was like Bella and that made him love her all the more.

"Then she's right" Carlisle informed calmly as he joined the room, carefully making his way over to his fiance, eyes scanning over them and he couldn't help but grin in pride at his son as he saw his granddaughter.

"I'll leave you three to it. I'm sure you're old enough to work out how to look after a baby" Edward teased.

"Flaking on your fatherly duties already, Edward?" Quinn teased as he walked away and he rose his hands innocently, winking as he vanished. Carlisle moved in front of Quinn, eyes warm as he looked the pair of them over with intrigue though there was a certain sadness.

"I'm sorry, love... That I can't give you this" he gestured vaguely around the situation at hand and she huffed, shaking her head.

"Silly you." he frowned at her words before she giggled. "When are you ever going to realise, Carlisle Cullen, that you are more than enough for me" she questioned with a grin and he chuckled as he leaned over the baby carefully to press his lips to hers once, sweetly before looking down at the gurgling infant.

Renesmee Cullen gurgled up at the two vampires, eyes glinting warmly and Quinn and Carlisle couldn't help the matching grins that lit up their faces when she did.

The Cullen coven was finally complete...
