Quinn smiled as she watched Bella interacting with Alice on the porch below, it was nearly the big day and somehow she figured that she was more excited than Bella was. The sun beat down marvellously, casting her skin over with a kaleidoscopic glow and as she listened to the birds singing in the trees around the balcony, she couldn't help but feel that everything was right in the world. When she felt him join her side, she could only smile, watching as her engagement ring sparkling on her finger in the glow of her supernatural skin.

"Tomorrow, you become a married man" she mused and heard the rumble that was unmistakably his chuckle. Quinn didn't have to look up from her hand on the railing to know that Edward was smiling. "Cold feet yet?" she smirked as she finally looked up and Edward chuckled with an eye roll as he perched calmly on the railing, watching his family below.

"I could never have second thoughts about this, about her" he decided with a tight smile and she couldn't help but grin as the notion. "She is the one"

"I would certainly hope so, it's getting a little bit late to call off the wedding now" she teased, her teeth glittering at her words and he scoffed, rolling his eyes. Any nerves that he had felt seemed to disappear as he spoke softly with his best friend, Quinn always knew the right thing to say.

"Thank you, Quinn" he spoke and she frowned in confusion.

"For what?"

"For everything you have done for me, I know that you think that I am the one that helped you, but you helped me too. In so many ways, it feels incredible to have someone with whom I know I can always confide" Edward spoke gently and she smiled as she looked up at him, her golden eyes swirling wonderfully.

"You're my best friend Ed, I would do anything for you" she promised him and he grinned in response, hooking an arm around her in a side hug which she graciously accepted. "I am so much happier now... I feel as though my life is finally on course and it feels incredible. I know that I have you to thank for at least part of that"

"Well, to thank me, you can be the best best man a groom could ask for, tomorrow" he smirked down at her with his crooked smile she knew so well and she laughed gently.

"Don't you worry, Alice gave me a crash course in all things best-manny. Starting with your stag-do" she smirked.

"Oh?"

"Yes, we've got it covered, strippers, the lot" she winked and he scoffed, knowing that she was joking but also not completely putting it passed her. "...You're going hunting with the boys. Make sure you return with both your eyebrows and your hair intact... I don't know what men do on their stag-dos but Bella doesn't want a bald groom" she winked and he rolled his eyes.

"Where do you get this information?"

"I saw it in a movie one time" Quinn shrugged as they looked down at Bella, hearing a stumble. "You're bride is going to be falling down the aisle tomorrow... Don't you worry, your best man is on it. I've been put on hen-do duty now too, hers isn't going to be as fun as yours. Bella's in need of some beauty sleep and walking lessons. The girls going to need her energy for what you have planned."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Edward huffed and she laughed.

"Nothing" she grinned innocently. "But if you break my pretty island house, I will break you" Quinn giggled and he merely scoffed, rolling his eyes.

"I've got to try not to break her first" he ran his hand over his eyes.

"You've got enough self-restraint for this Edward. I don't know why she is insisting on this before she becomes a vampire, but if it is her one condition to staying human a little while longer, then I am sure it will all be okay." Quinn reassured him and after all that time, speaking about the subject just felt normal to them both. They were best friends after all. "Just make sure she gets a better first time than I had" she scoffed.

"I am sorry that so many things were taken from you, Quinn" the mind reader replied sadly and she frowned.

"Don't be. Carlisle makes up for it all" she grinned and he rose an eyebrow.

"I'm not sure I want to know about that" Edward laughed and she shrugged as they looked over at the people down below, the boys were currently getting yelled at for not being able to 'see' the aisle.

"Does no one have vision?" Alice hissed and Quinn giggled.

"Not like you, Ali. Do you want me to compel them?" she questioned and the seer turned to her.

"Please" the pixie laughed and Quinn beamed, tapping a tune on the railing of the balcony. "But you have to take Bella home, take my car, yours has flowers in it."

"Oooh, yes, the Porsche" Quinn cheered.

"Try not to break the bride before the big day, love" Carlisle chuckled as he passed under them with a log on his shoulder and as he looked up at her with his sparkling golden eyes, he winked and she smiled shyly.
