Hi! I'm Ines and I am from Morocco 🇲🇦 and THIS IS MY STORY.
So when I was 11, I had an amazing best friend (she's still is) who was already an ARMY, obviously she talked lots about BTS and sometimes we listen to their songs, I kinda liked it but I wasn't a fan yet, that's how I met them in the first place.
In the end of the first confinement, my family and I traveled to Oualidia (a city in Morocco) and I met my distant cousin and as luck does things well she is an ARMY. We quickly became friends of course she was telling me about BTS, their personalities, what they liked, what they would do if they were with us. After a bit, Suga started to interest me, I'm not sure why but let's say I found him interesting (he became my bias).
Time passed and I wanted to learn more about BTS. Two days later we had to come home. After I just spent my vacation learning more about them and listening to their songs. At the start of the school year, I was so happy to see my best friend and I could finally talk about Kpop with her. A lot of good things happened but there is never a part of the light without shadows.
I began to have panic attacks although mines are a bit weird: I'm not panicking but instead I have excruciating pain in my lungs and it can go on for hours. The only things that make me forget about that pain was my friends and BTS, they helped me a lot. Month later, my panic attacks got a lot worse, but my friends convinced me to have a psy and after several discussions my mother finally accepted.
Except that I just spent my year watching anime/series/movies, read books, listening to Kpop, hanging out with my friends and of course studying. Oh I forgot to tell you, not month ago I figured out that I'm pansexual (I don't care about about the gender, I just love you no matter what you identifies as) and I come out to my friends, they accept me!
I didn't come out to my family. They're homophobic and I'm a bit scared of what they will do to me, but I'm okay I know that my friends, BTS and the ARMY's got my back.
