Hi! I'm Jae and I am from Malaysia 🇲🇾 and THIS IS MY STORY.

Malaysia. There is no winter in Malaysia.

However sometimes, I FELT like there is.

February, 2014.

The bell rings signalling the ends of school. I walk out of the class, my lips carve a smile. Oh, just when does my lips doesn't smile. It ALWAYS there.

As I walk down the stairs and heading towards the main door, my friends called out for me.

"Jae!" She said. I turn in her direction.

"Uh, yes?" I answered and she smile, guiltily. I cocked an eyebrow.

"Can you give this bag to the teacher? I need to go back early," she said and I, too nice to deny, decided to help her.

After thirty minutes of searching the said teachers, I finally found her in the back of the library. Giving to her the bag that Suzan asked me to give, I finally walk out of the school.

I climb into my parents car that already wait for me and quickly explain about what made me late. They just nodded and sigh. Of course, as I look out of the window, Suzan was still there playing and didn't go back early as she said.

May, 2015.

I am already 10 years old.

My mom said that I am going to be transferred to another school. I'm sad but kind of excited to be honest.

That morning of my last day in that school, my father drop me off at the gate and I walk up to the building where my class are. I came extra early today. 6:30 a.m. to be exact.

I take step over step, slowly, when climbing up the stairs. I know it is gonna be my last day I would walk up this staircase early in the morning.

As I walk along the corridor, I already see my classroom was light up which meant there's already student inside the class.

I walk closer but the closer I get, the more I hear. My step slowing down. I stand behind the door, eavesdropping.

"I'm glad Jae is not here already. Omg, she's so annoying," I heard she said.

"Right! She always talk here and there. Like omg, did you see how she smile," the others continue. They all snicker and laugh together.

And that's how I know what they thought of me being, what I thought, HAPPY.

Early September, 2015

I still remember their face when I walk inside the class. Shock, disgust and confuse was clearly pasted on their face.

"Why are you still here?" They had asked me. All I do was smile and answered their questions calmly. "This is my last day, hope you guys would be happy," Again, I smile. As ALWAYS.

But I don't mind them. All of my friends there was great enough to make a suprise party for my last day and also my birthday in advance that day. Though, my birthday is tomorrow. I chuckles lowly.

It's fun, full with laughter and tears. Thanks guys.

Jun, 2018.

I'm still the same. The same talkative and happy Jae.

Today, there's no school. It was the end of the week so, no school. I scroll through my messaging app. No one chat me though. I groaned, feeling bored. Suddenly, there's a 'ping' sound coming from my phone. I look at the notification.
