Back in New York, Rory and Logan are sitting on the bed. "Are you disappointed?" Logan asked. "yes, I mean the timing is not right, you just asked me to marry you. But it would have been a part of you and I" "Yeah, that's what I was thinking. We can still try. I like the idea of a little girl that looks just like her mother, or a little boy that the twins can torcher themselves but won't let anyone else mess with "Rory laughed. "I want to be married first." Logan said "okay, are we going to have a long engagement or a short one.?" Rory said, "I vote for a short one." "Do you think you can have it planned by new year's?" Rory looked at Logan "are you sure you want to get married that quick. It is only 5 weeks or 36 days."

Logan stood up and started pacing. "Ace, give me a few details of the kind of wedding you want with me." Rory said, "well, I see us getting married at the gazebo in Stars Hollow." "So, you are looking at a small wedding?" "Do you know how many people are in Stars Hollow?" Logan laughed. "Okay, a wedding at the gazebo with all the town present. What else? Close your eyes and imagine you are marrying me on New Year's Eve at the gazebo in Stars Hollow. Tell me what you see" "I see me dressed in a light pink Chanel pants suit, you in your navy-blue suit with a light blue shirt. No tie. I see Collin and Finn standing beside you. I see Lane and Steph standing beside me. I see the twins standing between us." She smiled at the image she had in her head.

"Okay," Logan said. "That is enough to start working on it. I have a plan. Rory had tears in her eyes, she couldn't stop them from falling. She knows Logan, even if it has been years. He was going to make this happen."

Logan told Rory to call Steph and he will call Honor. Tell them to come to the apartment ready to plan a wedding.

Rory and Logan were at the bar in the kitchen, both with laptops and notebooks. They are doing research. When Steph got there, she brought Juliet. Juliet brought tons of books. Collin and Finn come dragging in with more books. Honor was in New York when Logan called. Honor, Savanna, Joshua, and Samuel came in shortly after Collin and Finn. After a quick "Hello" Savanna took the boys to the playroom. While Rory was on the phone with Taylor, he was being difficult as usual, the pizza arrived.

Rory had talked with her mother and told her what was going on. Her mother was happy for her, as long as she is happy, and the boys are well taken care of she was in. Rory told her mom that she would text a list of things that she needed Lorelai to do. She called Lane and told her what is happening. She too was happy for Rory. Rory told her that she would let her know what was planned. She apologized for the short notice. She knew that Lane was at the festival and could not come to New York to help plan.

By 4:00 The group broke up to go home to get ready for a night on the town. Honor kissed Rory on the cheek and told her that she would make some calls and set up an appointment with Vera Wang if she is in town, if not they would see when she will be back.

While in the, on the way to dinner, Honor called. They have an appointment with Vera Wang herself Wednesday. Rory hung up and called Lorelai. She told her about the appointment Wednesday and asked if she and Lane could come up. Lorelai said she will check with Lane, but to go ahead a put them down for being there.

The gang had a ball all weekend. Cubbing, Shopping, Wedding Planning, more shopping, lazing around. Rory was very relaxed. She has not had any anxiety all weekend. Monday morning, Logan was going into the office. He and Rory talked. She is going to stay in New York with him this week as planned, but he was going to have to work to get the move completed by New Year. He will then be able to take Rory on an extended honeymoon.

Monday morning Rory groaned when she heard the alarm clock go off. Logan told her to go back to bed. When he got out of the shower, Rory had a cup of coffee waiting on him. He looks so yummy all wet, hair all messed up and a towel wrapped around his waist. Rory shook her head. He did not have time for that, he had to go to work.

"See something you like" "No, just thinking that when we get married, I probably need to bring clothes for me and the twins to keep in New York," Rory said with a grin. Logan laughed, "yeah, I guess so. Ace? Are you going to make an appointment with your lady parts doctor about you not having a period? It could be a false negative or maybe too early to tell. Either way, I want you to see a doctor. I want to know that you are okay. I want a doctor to tell us it is okay to start trying to have a baby." Rory said, "I will make an appointment for when I get back to Hartford. I want to use my OB/GYN. She knows my history. I had all my medical records transfer back to Hartford after I moved back." "See if she has an opening tomorrow. I will be making a day trip to Hartford. If you can get an appointment you can come with me, see the boys." "Okay, I will call as soon as they open today. Maybe someone will cancel, and they will have an opening.

Logan left to go to the office. Rory went back to sleep. Rory's phone rang about 10:00. She was in bed reading. "Hello" "Hey my darling engaged daughter. What are your plans for today?" "Nothing much. Got a few phone calls to make. Going to do some reading. Got a few stories in my 'in box' that need to be edited. Why? What are you going to do today?" Lorelai laughed. "Nothing much. Karson is bringing the boys to me for the day. I am going to spend the day spoiling them." Rory "Mom, not that I mind you spending time with the boys, but why are they not with Melissa and Billy." Lorelai hesitated. She wants to tell Rory what she knows but doesn't want to worry her. She and Karson have everything under control. "Billy and Melissa have somewhere to go, so Karson suggested that she bring them to Stars Hollow. I called Michel and told him I was taking the day off."

"Mom, is something going on that I need to know about?" Lorelai hesitated again. This time Rory said, "I will be there in driving time." "No. No, just calm down. I will tell you what is going on. But you have to promise that you will not worry, and you will enjoy your time with Logan." "I'm not making a promise, not until you tell me what is going on. Either you tell me, or I get Logan's helicopter and land in the middle of Stars Hollow." Lorelai started laughing. "I'll tell you, but you have to promise to let me finish please.?" Rory just made a noise and Lorelai continued.

"This is what Karson told me. She overheard some of this and Billy told her some of it. Billy and Melissa have been fighting. Billy told Karson that he is taking Melissa to the airport. Karson does not think Melissa is aware. Karson is afraid the boys will get caught in the middle. You know how protective she can be." "What are they fighting about?" "Melissa overheard Karson on the phone with you about the engagement. From what Karson says, Melissa told Billy thinking it would prompt him to ask her to marry him. You know they are not properly engaged. No Ring." Rory giggled. "When Billy didn't respond as such, they got into a shouting match. Did you know she wore heels to the Thanksgiving festival and had to sit in Luke's for most of it because her feet hurt too bad?" Lorelai was laughing now. "Ms. Patty told her in not-so-nice words that she did not belong." Rory said, "I was going to tell Billy I am engaged. I also wanted to tell the boys. Do the boys know? I want to sit down and talk with them. I know they are too young to understand, but I want to be the one to talk with them about it. Anyway, I may be going to Hartford tomorrow for the day. Logan has to be at the Hartford office. I thought I would go with him and could see the boys. I will call Billy when I know for sure. Maybe he or Karson can meet me at Luke's with them" "That sounds good." Lorelai said, making a mental note to call me Billy and tell him not to tell Rory on the phone about what happened with the Melissa threatening the boys.

When Rory got off the phone with Lorelai, she called her OB/GYN. The next available appointment will be in two weeks unless it is an emergency. She left her number and told them to call her if an appointment opened up. She then called Paris. She and Paris talked for a few minutes. Paris didn't have a lot of time, but Rory told her about the pregnancy test and not having a period. Paris advised her to see her doctor. Rory told her the earliest appointment was in two weeks. Paris asked her if she wanted to make an appointment with her. Rory asked if there is anything available tomorrow. Paris said no, but I will be in New York Thursday. You want to schedule it now. Rory agreed.

After talking with Paris, Rory took a shower and texted Logan asking if he was going to be able to go to lunch or did, he want her to just bring lunch to him. He told her to just bring it to him and her would show her the New York offices.
