Back in Hartford, Billy and Melissa are trying to get the boys ready to go to Stars Hollow for the Thanksgiving Festival. The twins are not cooperating. Melissa is getting upset. She wants to make a good impression on Rory's parents. Billy asked the boys for the 3rd time to put their shoes on. Will was watching "Paw Patrol" and Chris was coloring at the coffee table. Neither boy moved. Melissa yelled. "Will, Chris, listen to your dad. We have got to go. This is your last warning. Get your shoes on or I will tear your butt up" Billy stopped what he was doing and stared at Melissa. "Melissa, I don't think it is a good idea for you to yelling and threaten them."

Karson heard the yelling and came upstairs. She grabbed the boys' shoes and sat down next to Will. "Here, let me put your shoes on." Will turned about and gave her his feet. She put his shoes on and tied them. "Chris?" He gave her his feet and put his shoes on and tied them. She took the remote and turned off the tv. She took Will and Chris by the hand and walked them to the garage and put them in their car seats and gave them a sippy cup. She returned to the house and told Billy that the boys were in the car and ready to go. She asked him if they are going straight to Stars Hollow? Billy nodded. Karson told him that she would be about 10 mins behind them. She told him that she would be there to help him with the boys. Karson turned around and looked at Melissa and walked down the stairs to her room to get ready to go. As she was getting dressed, she heard the car pull out of the garage. She picked up her cell phone and called Lorelai.

"Hello" "Lorelai hey. Billy and Melissa are headed to Stars Hollow for the festival with the boys." Lorelai "yeah, Rory told me they would be coming. She also said that you were not feeling good." "I'm feeling okay. I just wanted to give you a heads up. I don't want to bother Rory, because I know that she will cut her trip short, and I don't want that. I think Logan is going to propose." "Karson, what's going on?" "I think Melissa is getting ill with the boys. She was yelling at them to put their shoes on, and they were not paying attention. She threatens to spank them. That's when I came upstairs, put their shoes on them, and put them in the car. I told Billy I would be about 10 minutes behind them so I could help him look after the boys." "Okay, you made the right decision not to call Rory. You can tell her about it when she gets back. I will talk with Billy when he gets here. If you are not feeling up to it, I can help him with the boys." No, ma'am. I'm coming to Stars Hollow. If I get to feeling bad, I can go lay down at your house." "That sounds good. See you when you get here."

Billy, Melissa, and the boys were on the way to Stars Hollow. The boys are watching Shrek in the entertainment center. Billy told Melissa that he didn't want her to yell at the boys. He also told her that he didn't like her threatening them with a spanking. That is his and Rory's job. Melissa went to protest, and Billy said "I will not stand for Logan spanking the boys. I'm sure Rory will not be happy about you threatening them either" Melissa said, "How will she know?" Billy, "I'm sure Karson will tell her." Melissa "they are spoiled brats; you only get a few days at a time with them. You have to let them know you are in control or they will get out of hand." Billy, "They are 4 years old. They are not spoiled. I'm not liking your attitude. Are you sure you want to get married because those boys come with the package? I may not get to see them much, but they are my boys, and they will come first" Melissa just looked out the window. She thought it was best just to shut her mouth right now. She will talk with him about this later.

When they got to Stars Hollow, they parked next to Luke's. The boys were trying to unbuckle and get out. Billy had to help them. He told them to stay with him. The boys were excited. They are used to being able to just run around at the festivals because everyone knew them and who they belonged to. Miss Patty walked up and was talking with the boys asking about Rory. The boys were talking a mile a minute to Miss Patty. Then they spotted Luke. The boys started toward him calling for him but stopped. They were waiting on Billy to tell them it was okay. Billy told them to be careful and not to wander off by themselves. The boys took off running. Miss Patty smiled at Billy. "You and Rory," she said looking at Melissa "have some very fine boys." Billy said, "Thank you Miss Patty" Then Miss Patty took a good look at Melissa and asked if they were going to a party. Melissa replied, "No we are just bringing the boys to the festival to have fun" Miss Patty "Hum, in those shoes" she turned around and looked at Billy as she walked off laughing.

Melissa asked Billy "what is wrong with my shoe?" Billy looked down "6-inch heels at a Stars Hollow festival is not a good idea. Your feet will be hurting, and you could easily step in a hole and break your leg." Melissa "Why didn't you tell me?" "I told you to dress comfortably," Billy said as he walked off towards where the boys were playing a game of ring toss with Luke and Lorelai.
