Rory was sitting at the kitchen bar, making off the things on her list that had been taken care of. The boys were in their room, packing up some last-minute toys and books to take with them to New York. Logan was at the office, finishing up. Ms. Lewis is in the kitchen with Evelyn, preparing food. Evelyn decided to join the family in New York. Ricky and Karson left yesterday. They are meeting the cleaning service at the apartment to get the last-minute last, minute stuff done. Rory and Logan decided that Evelyn would drive Rory's car to New York. Logan, Rory, and the boys would be taking the helicopter. Ricky and Karson are on Karson's car. Logan made arrangements with Frank. He would be at their service throughout the duration of their stay in New York. Logan bought a black SUV and two car seats. Rory was making that off the list when the gate alert beeped. Rory checked with security at the gate. It was her mother.

Rory opened the door to Lorelai. "Hey mom," Rory said, hugging her mother. "Hey, I didn't know what time you'll be leaving today. Was hoping to catch you before you leave." Lorelai said. "As you can see we are still here. Come on in. The boys are upstairs, let me get them." It wasn't very long, both boys came flying down the stairs. "Nana" Lorelai hugged them. Both started telling about the new adventure. How they were going to stay in Pop's house in New York. Lorelai could tell they were excited. She was going to miss them.

They Were all sitting in the living room. Rory could tell Lorelai wanted to say something, she just wasn't sure she wanted to hear it. After a while Rory said. "Boys, how about finishing up? Rory stood up to meet Logan halfway. She kissed him. "Mom and I are talking. The boys are finishing up the last of the toys." Rory said. "Okay," Logan said, looking at Rory to make sure she is okay. "I'll go get changed. Think we can leave in an hour?" Logan asked. "Yeah, I'm ready, Evelyn will be driving up tonight. She will have what Karson and Ricky didn't take." "Okay," Logan said and kissed her one more time before heading upstairs.
