Rory looked at Logan. She was trying to see if he was serious. She was expecting a proposal when they were at Martha's Vineyard in October for her birthday. But she never expected it while driving down the interstate. "Logan? Are you serious? You just proposed to me while you are driving. Where is the ring? Is this a joke?"

Logan looked at Rory and exited the next off-ramp. He told Rory "hold on. Let me stop the car." When they exited the interstate, he pulled into the nearest gas station parking lot, unbuckled his seat belt, and turned so that he was facing Rory. He opens the console of the car and handed Rory a ring box. "I know I did this wrong last time. Guess I didn't do too much better this time. Ace, I had a plan in the works to propose to you. It was going to be romantic, but after you told me about the anxiety attacks, my heart was telling me 'do it now.'"

Rory took Logan's hand, looked him in the eye, and told him that he did it perfectly. "yes, I will marry you." Logan jumped out of the car, ran around to Rory's side of the car, opened her door, and tried to pull her out of the car. He was smiling from ear to ear. Rory still had her seat belt on, and he couldn't pull her out, so he knelt down on one knee and presented her with the most beautiful diamond and sapphire ring. Rory nodded her head and held out her hand as tears ran down her cheeks. Logan slipped the ring on her finger, she unbuckled and stood up to hug him, causing them both to fall flat on the ground covered in leaves. Who would have thought that Logan Huntzburger would propose marriage while driving down the road?

When they returned to the road, Rory asked Logan could they have a serious talk? Logan said, "Sure we still have a way to go" Grabbing Logan's hand Rory told him. Logan smiled and nodded his head. Rory then got this serious look on her face. "Logan, we need to talk about the twins." Logan "Ace, I love those boys. You know that." "Yes, but this morning with all that was going on, I took what you said about alone time with no cold feet crawling in the bed, as you didn't want them" Logan looked at Rory. She had tears running down her cheeks. "I can't marry you if the twins will be a problem." Logan just laughed, "Ace, baby, I love them. I am not going to try to replace their dad. They have a good dad. I know that you and the boys come as a package deal. I have no intention of trying to talk you into sending them to boarding school or hire nannies to raise them. I want to help you and Billy raise those wonderful little boys" Rory was smiling at him. "Good, I know I was just overreacting. Logan, you do know that Karson comes with the deal also. She has two more years of undergrad, then four years of grad school." Logan was nodding his head. "I know you look to her as a daughter. She has a sweet setup. I know that she loves those boys and you. I hope she feels better soon." Rory said "It's just cramped, nothing a heating pad and Midol won't cure. I talked to Melissa about checking on her. I also told her that she had her own debit card attacked to my account if they needed anything. I put a box of..." It took Logan a minute to realize Rory had stopped talking. "Rory, what's wrong, you put a box of what?" Rory told Logan, "Nothing, I just lost my train of thought." Rory sat there for a little while, neither of them talking. Rory finally dug her phone out of her purse. Logan asked if she was going to call and check on Karson? Rory told me no that she will be okay.

Before Rory realized it, they were approaching the New York skyline. She looked at Logan and asked if she had time to meet up with Steph for a few minutes. Logan said sure. "Ace are you sure you are okay, you haven't said much. Please tell me you haven't changed your mind." Rory "No Logan, I haven't changed my mind. I won't. She took her phone and called Steph. She asked if she could meet her for coffee in about 15 minutes. Steph was okay with that. Rory asked Logan to drop her off at the coffee shop on the corner." The one that we meet at in August."

When Rory walked into the coffee shop, Steph had a booth in the corner. Rory ordered her a coffee and sat down with Steph. "Hey, girly, what's up. Are you and Logan just getting to town?" "Yeah," Rory said with a smile that did not reach her eyes. Steph notice. "Rory, what is wrong. I can tell, something is bothering you."

Rory took a deep breath and exhaled. "You cannot tell anyone. Please promise me. This is so important to me that you don't say a word to Logan, Collin, or Finn. NOONE." Steph said. "Okay, what's going on. I promise. Do you want to pinky swear?" Rory laughed. "Logan asked me to marry him." Steph's eye got wide. Steph knew Logan was going to propose this week, she just didn't know when. "Well, let me see the ring." Rory said with a smile. "he proposed while he was driving in today. I told him yes" Steph asked, "Is this what you want me to keep to myself about?" Rory shook her head no.

"Steph, I think I'm pregnant." Steph just squealed. "Yes, Yes, we will have a little Logan or a little Rory. I am so happy for you. Have you told Logan?" "Steph, I haven't taken a test yet. It just dawned on me after he proposed. Karson is having bad cramps and I was worried about her. I was trying to assure myself that she will be fine when I told Logan I put a box of tampons in Karson's bathroom. That's when I realized I should have had my period on the first of November. This morning the house was chaos, and I had an anxiety attack. I broke down and told Logan about how they started after the proposal. Now I am thinking maybe it is not an anxiety attack, but hormones" Steph just sat there rubbing Rory's arm. "Sweetie do you want another baby? Does Logan want a baby" "I do want Logan to be my baby's daddy" Both girls laughed at the slang? "But I don't know if Logan does." Well, I can tell you as long as he is having a baby with you, he will want it." Rory smiled, "Yeah, he loves me so much, and I love him. I know what was missing in my life when I was married to Billy. I do not regret marrying Billy, because without him I would not have Will and Chris. But sometimes I would fantasize about Logan being their father." "Well Sweetie, we will go to the Walgreens on the corner and get a couple of pregnancy tests. Do you want me to be with you when you find out or Logan?" Rory smiled. "Logan," Steph said, "Okay let's go, then I will drop you off. You will call me and let me know, Right?"

Steph dropped Rory off at Logan's apartment. Jeffrey stopped her at the front desk and told her that Mr. Logan wanted her to know that he is in the gym, and she needs to just go ahead up to the penthouse, and he will be back shortly. Rory thanked Jeffery and got in the elevator. When she stepped out on the top floor, she used her key to open the door. She had her phone in her hand and she pressed the speed dial button for Logan. It went to voice mail. "Logan, I'm at the apartment. Please come home. I need to talk with you." She then turned around and sent him a text asking him to come home.

Rory was never one to live out of a suitcase. That is one of the things that she disliked about the campaign trail. She was in the bedroom unpacking when her phone beeped telling her she had a text. It was from Logan telling her he was on his way home. She picked up the Walgreens bag and got really nervous. What if Logan thought this was too soon? What if Logan did not want any children. What if he was just happy helping raise her twins? Oh twins, what if she had another set of twins. Wow, you have got to calm down. She was so much inside her head that she did not hear Logan come in. He was calling her name. When he walked into the bedroom, he scared her. She was sitting on the edge of the bed. "Ace, what's going on. I know you miss me, and you are ready to start our week together in New York, but surely you can wait until I have finished my workout. I got to keep the "bod" in good shape for you." Rory turned around and asked Logan to have a seat. He sat down on the bench at the end of the bed and started taking his workout shoes off. "I'm sitting, what's going on." Rory, "Well you remember I told you that Karson was cramping, and I took her the heating pad and the tampons. Well, that got me thinking. Logan, I have not had a period since the first of October."

Logan's head snapped up. "Ace, do you think you are pregnant?" Rory looked at him and nodded her head. "What is in the Walgreens bag, Ace. Is that a pregnancy test?" Rory again just nodded. "Have you taken the test yet?" Rory said, "No, Steph offered to wait with me while I took the test, but I would rather you be here with me." Logan said. "Okay" Rory turned around and headed to the bathroom and Logan was following. "Ow, I don't want you in here when I pee on the stick" Logan just laughed. "Okay, I will wait out here."

Rory came out of the bathroom and set the timer on her watch. Logan asked how long it will take. Rory said the instructions say three minutes, but when she peed on the stick with the twins, it was immediately. Logan said, "Okay, we wait."
