Rory made the trip with Logan to Hartford. Karson and the twins met Rory and Lorelai at the inn for lunch. Rory told the boys that She and Logan are getting married. The twins were excited. Then they wanted to go play on the playground equipment. Karson went with the. Rory took Karson's jeep to the Gilmore Manor in Hartford. She had called Billy and asked to meet with her.

When she got to the Manor, Billy was in the pool house. She and Billy talked. She told him about the engagement. She gave him details, the date and time. He asked if he could get the boys after the ceremony and keep them for a few days. Rory asked him if he would be keeping them at the Gilmore Manor or taking them to Jacksonville. Rory told Billy she preferred that he stayed in Hartford. He asked Rory how long she and Logan will be gone. She told him that she was not sure, but if it was more than a week, she will be making arrangements for Karson to bring the twins to them. Billy just nodded his head. He knew that when he had the boys in the summer, that Rory came down every other week to stay. He knows that Rory trusts him, but that is just the mother in her. He hopes that Rory will still trust him when he tells her what happened with Melissa.

After talking for an hour, Rory told Billy she had to go. She would send Karson back with the twins when she got back to Stars Hollow. True to her word, she picked up the twins and Karson. Karson dropped her off at the Hartford office. She told Karson that if she had any problems to call her or Lorelai. She told her that Lorelai will be checking on them.

Rory told Logan about her day as they flew back to New York. They planned a quiet night at the apartment. No wedding planning, no friends over, just the two of them enjoying the fireplace and a bottle of wine. Later that night, Logan took Rory to bed and showed her how much he appreciated her and her him.

The next morning, Logan was exiting the bathroom when Rory woke up. She lay in bed and talked with him while he got dressed for work. He asked her to stop by the office when she finished with her appointment with Paris. She told him she would, but she is sure the test results will not be back that quick.

When Logan gets to work, John is waiting on him. There are problems with the Hartford move. Johns and Logan spend the morning working out the details. Meanwhile, Rory gets dressed for her appointment with Paris. When she arrives, she is shown into an exam room. Paris orders a number of tests, including a pregnancy test. The nurse arrives to draw the blood and Paris takes over. "I will take care of this" Rory looks away as Paris draws blood. Paris tells the nurse to put a rush on the pregnancy test. "If it comes back negative, I will order more tests to see if there is a problem. Most home pregnancy tests are reliable. You said your last period was in October?" Rory nodded. Paris "Okay, the results will only take a minute. Now tell me about this wedding you are putting together." Rory and Paris were discussing the plans for the wedding when the nurse reappeared. She handed Paris the test results. "Okay, Rory let's go to the ultrasound lab." "Paris is there something wrong?" "Well, it looks like you were pregnant" Rory looks disappointed. "but it was not a viable pregnancy. It's an Ectopic pregnancy or tubal pregnancy. It could not survive. I want to look at it on the ultrasound. Then we can discuss what action to take." "Can I call Logan? I want him to be here for this." 'Yes, call Logan. But Rory this can not wait. I have to make sure to it has not damaged your fallopian tube. Tell him we need him here in the next 30 minutes." Paris left to give Rory some privacy and to get everything set up in the ultrasound lab.

Logan was at the conference table on the phone with Mitchum looking at the plans when his cell phone rang. John was at Logan's desk, so he answered it. "Hello, Logan Huntzburger phone" Rory "John, can I please speak with Logan" "Sure, he is on the other line, but he should be off in a few minutes, I'll tell him it's you." "John, tell him it is very important that I talk to him now," John tells Logan that Rory is on the phone and it's important. Logan tells his Dad that he has to go and will call him later. Logan takes the phone from John, "Ace, what's..." Rory started crying. "Ace, hey Ace, where are you? What's wrong?" "I'm at Paris' office 161 Madison Ave. She wants to do some tests and I want you here. Can you come right now?" "Yeah, I'm leaving now. Did she tell you why she wants to do the test?" Logan asked in his office. "Yeah, she can explain it better than I can. Just come on."

Frank made it to Paris' office in 10 minutes flat. He let Logan off at the door. When Logan entered Paris's office the receptionist directed him to the ultrasound room. Before he entered Paris came out of her office. "Huntzburger, you made excellent time." "Paris where is Ace, what is wrong?" "Come on in and I can explain it to both of you. Don't worry."

Paris explained that Rory had an ectopic pregnancy and because Rory is not having any pain, she is sure that there is no damage to the fallopian tube. She further explained that she wanted to see on the ultrasound before discussing options. Rory laid back on the table as Logan held her hand. Paris put the cold gel on her stomach and started looking around. She pointed out the fetus on the outside of the tube. She told them that it had not developed past the initial conception. She wiped off the gel and Rory sat up. Paris explained what an ectopic pregnancy is. She then explained that she would give Rory a Meholrexate shot. It will stop the cells from growing. She told Rory that Monday she wanted to see her in her office in Hartford. She would draw blood. She told them that she would be monitoring Rory's hCG levels. If they have not returned to 0 in a few weeks' time, she will need surgery. She then told Rory that because of the side effects, for the next 2 days she needs to plan to stay in bed.

Logan asked Paris, "will this affect Rory's ability to get pregnant or to carry a child to term? "No, this will not affect her ability to get pregnant or to carry a baby to full term" Paris gave Rory some pamphlets on Meholrexate and the side effects. She excused herself for Rory and Logan to talk. When Paris returned, she had the medicine. Rory told her to go ahead with the shot.

Rory and Logan left the office and went back to his apartment and packed. They had decided to go back to Hartford. Paris will be working out of the Hartford office next week and they wanted to be close to her. Rory also wanted to see her boys.

On the way to the Huntzburger offices in New York, Rory called her mother and told her about the doctor's visit. Lorelai said she would call Karson to let her know she is on the way home. Rory also called Ms. Lewis. She asked Ms. Lewis to work all week to help Karson. When they got on the Helicopter, Rory and Logan had a plan. It was a good thing because Rory became very dizzy and Nausea. Paris had given her some pills to take before she got on the Helicopter. Logan told her to relax. The pills will take any minute now and you will be asleep.
