The rest of the week was not as bad as Monday and Tuesday. Before Rory knew it, it was Friday morning, and She and Logan were headed to New York. They decided to take the helicopter. Honor was in New York. She was meeting Rory after Rory met with Sally. Honor and Rory were going shopping. It was time to furnish the nursery. She also needed to register. Honor and Lorelai were planning a baby shower for the beginning of May. As they were getting ready to land, Logan reminded Rory that she needs to take it easy. "You know Honor will shop until she drops. You remind her that you need to rest between stores." Logan told Rory. "I will, I will be fine."

Rory and Sally's meeting was great. Rory told Sally to be sure to plan at least two days at home between every two days on the road. Sally was agreeable. Rory was not a new author. Her books would sell well whether she did a book tour or not. But Sally was pushing for another New York Times Best Seller. Rory agreed. That is what she wanted too. Sally assured Rory that taking Huntzburger transportation was not a problem. Rory left the meeting feeling pretty good about it.

Rory called Honor before leaving the building. Honor told her that she would be there shortly. Rory told Honor about a coffee shop on the west corner of the block, that is where she will be. Rory didn't have time to sit down when she saw Frank pull up with Honor. She grabbed her muffin and coffee and headed to the town car. "Frank, Honor, I am so glad to see you. Frank, are you ready for this shopping spree?" "Yes, ma'am. Ms. Honor has already been shopping today. We have already made one trip to the apartment to drop off." "Honor," Rory laughed. "Did you leave anything in the stores for the rest of us?"

Honor and Rory started at 'Pottery Barn Babies'. Rory wanted to get all the big items, she did not want others to purchase the crib, changing table, dresser, and rocker for the nursery. Rory has been looking online, so she was pretty sure what she was looking for. She pulled out her phone to show the saleslady what she was looking for.

Logan received a text from Rory that she was out of the meeting with Sally and everything was great. They agreed on a schedule. Next would be picking out a book cover. Logan told Rory to enjoy herself but to remember to pace herself. Logan was working in his office when there was a knock on his door. Logan looked up. His dad was standing at the door. "Dad, come on in. Didn't know you would be in New York today." "Yes, we have been here since Wednesday. Cynthia and Jessi are shopping for furniture for the Manor. I'm taking them to 'Wicked' Saturday night." Mitchum told him. I just thought I would stop by and see if there is anything you need me to do." "No, I don't think so. Just catching up. I had to leave the office after lunch Tuesday" Logan said. "Rory is okay?" "Yeah, this was not Rory. I was coming back from lunch with Rory, before I could step off the elevator, John got on and told me to come with him. Shira was waiting for me. So I left and worked from home. Dad, I am seriously thinking that it would benefit us all if I made Shira an offer she could not refuse to move to London." Mitchum laughed. "Maybe you could look into that."

Logan told Mitchum if he was bored and looking for something to do, he could use the conference room to look at the quarterly reports and write a summary detailing any improvement or changes that he thinks need to be made. Mitchum agreed. Logan was in Kim's office discussing a report on the New York Observer. It was one of the smaller papers in New York that HPG owned, when a blonde-headed short girl, who could not have been over 20 years old, interrupted them. Mr. Huntzburger. You have a call in your office. Your cell phone has been ringing, then the call came in from the front desk looking for you. "Do you know who it is?" "No sir, I was just told to come to get you."

Logan told Kim that he would finish this later, and walked back to his office. He was worried that it was Rory or Honor telling him there was something wrong with Rory. "Logan Huntzburger" Logan answered the phone. "Logan, you are a hard person to track down, This is Agent Stone from the FBI." "How can I help you, Agent Stone?" "We have enough evidence to arrest Melissa." "That's great," Logan told him. "The only problem is we can not find her. We have checked the airports and the train stations. No one by her name has left by plane or train." Stone said. "I just wanted to give you a heads up." "Thank you. I have security for all my family. I will make some calls to give them a heads up. Stone, have you considered that she and Billy were together long enough that she got to know some of his pilots. Maybe one of them flew her out as a flight attendant on a chartered flight." "Yes, we are checking into it." "Okay, thanks for the heads up, just let me know what you find," Logan said.

Logan got a call from Rory telling him they were finished shopping. "Do you want Honor to drop me off at your office?" Rory asked. "No, meet me at the helipad. I'm ready to go home."

Rory and Logan had a quiet ride home. After he told her about the call from Agent Stone, Rory showed him pictures of some of the furniture she ordered. While he was looking, Rory laid her head in his lap and went to sleep.
