Chapter 126 Doctor's appointment-Talk with Gigi

The rest of the week went smoothly, Gigi and Karson were now in a routine that they both could live with. Gigi wanted to stay up all night texting on the phone and playing video games. Karson liked to go to sleep at a decent hour. She never knew what her day would be like. With Rory approaching 33 weeks, she was doing more and more helping with the boys. She found out early that a good night's sleep made the day a whole lot better.

The weather was getting warmer. The pool service was coming this week to open the pool. The boys were enjoying playing in the backyard. Most days Cynthia and Jessi would come over, Jessi would play with the boys or sometimes sit with Karson and Gigi while they talked. Cynthia helped to make sure Rory was feeling okay and getting enough rest. Mitchum started going to the office for half a day. He planned to help Logan while he was on paternity leave. Logan planned on taking two weeks, then working half a day at home for four more. With Cynthia there most of the day, Logan was comfortable going to work.

Lorelai stopped by Wednesday morning. Rory texted her after the wedding and told her the coast was clean. Christopher and Lana were married. She texted back that she would stop by Wednesday. Rory was afraid Lorelai would try to throw her another shower. Rory had a doctor's appointment Wednesday, Logan was picking her up to go with her. Lorelai stopped by around 10:00. She apologized for not attending baby Em's shower. She was crying. Kept saying how she was a bad Nana. After Rory got her calmed down, Lorelai explained her reason for not attending. She was mad because the shower date and place were moved. She was afraid if she attended, she would say or do something that would embarrass Rory. She apologized again. Rory told her she understood and did not have any hard feelings. Rory heard the words coming out her mouth, she just had to convince herself that she believed it.

Cynthia made herself scarce while Lorelai was there. They had a nice visit. No snide remarks from Lorelai. She plays with the boys outside for a while. She was just leaving when Logan pulled up. He was surprised to see her. He knew she was coming but figured it would be after the appointment. They spoke at the door. Logan was pleasantly surprised at Lorelai's attitude. It had been a long time since didn't felt hostility pouring off her toward him.

The doctor's appointment went great. Logan asked when the cut-off date was for flying. The doctor explained that she would not be allowed on a commercial airline without a doctor's note after 36 weeks. Logan explained it would be a private plane and a helicopter. Logan continued explaining that they will be at Martha's Vineyard house for the week of the 4th. "Rory will be 37 weeks when we leave and 38 when we return," Logan said. The doctor nodded his head. "Let me do some research. Sitting in a car for the 4-hour drive will not be good either." "Dr. Boyett, is there a chance that I won't be able to go?" Rory asked. "No, Let me do research. If all else fells, You will have to stop every hour and walk around for a few minutes." "That won't be a problem. I will have to pee every 30 minutes anyway." Rory laughed. "Doc," Logan said. "What if she is in an RV? She could lay in the bed, go to the bathroom. It would be like she was at home." "That is an idea. You look into that and I will include it in my research. We still have a few weeks to go."

When Logan and Rory returned home, security stopped them at the gate. He told them that Gigi had a visitor that was not on the approved list. "I wouldn't let him in. Gigi came to the gate and talked with him for a few minutes. I told him that Gigi could call him when you returned. If you approved I would add him to the list." "Thank you," Logan said. "I appreciate it." "Gigi is not supposed to have any company when one of us is not home. She knows this" Rory said. Logan pulled the car into the garage. "I hope I can last the next few weeks without killing her," Rory said with a sigh.

Logan was in the home office for about 40 minutes when he got a call and had to go to the office. Will was in the office with him drawing, while Chris was playing a video game with Gigi. "Well, I have to go to the office for a few hours. How about you take your drawings to the playroom?" Logan said. "Can I go with you to your office"? He asked. Logan looked at him. "Let's go ask moma. See what she thinks" They found Rory in the living room reading. "Moma, I can go with daddy to his office. He said I could." Will said. Rory looked at Logan and he nodded. "Okay, you be good for Logan and mind your manners. Yes sir, no, sir, yes ma'am no ma'am." Rory said. Will nodded his head. He grabbed Logan's hand.

Logan and Will left for the office and Rory went back to reading her book. It wasn't too long before Chris came looking for Will. When Rory told him he was with Logan at the office. Chris was not happy. While Logan was gone, Gigi came looking for Rory. She was upset. Rory sent Chris to play while she and Gigi talked.

Gigi explained that she had been dating Eddie. "Is that the guy that was turned away from the gate earlier?" Rory asked. Gigi shook her head no. "That was Louie," Gig said. "Louie, Louie, Your ex-boyfriend Louie?" Rory asked, Gigi, nodded. "Gigi, are you seeing both of them?" "No, I have been dating Eddie for a few weeks. I found out Friday that Louie wants me to give him a second chance. Tina thinks Louie found out about Eddie, so now he wants me back" Gigi said. "What do you think?" Rory asked. "I don't know. I like Eddie, I have fun with Eddie. But I had fun with Louie. I think a part of me still loves Louie." "Sounds to me like you need to talk to Eddie and Louie, but you do not need to string them along." "I know, just tell me what you would do," Gigi asked. Rory laughed. "Nope"
