Rory sat the boys down for breakfast and explained to them that her friend Logan was going to come to visit. She explained to them that she wanted them to be on their best behavior and remember their manners. Will with his mouth full of cereal "Is he a friend from work? Does Daddy know him?" Chris "No dummy, mama has friends that Daddy don't know." Rory "Will manners, Chris don't call your brother a dummy." Both boys ''sorry mommy"

"To answer your questions, Logan is not a friend from work. I knew Logan when I was in college." Will "that was a long time ago." Rory "well not too long. Daddy has to meet Logan over facetime. Both boys ''okay mommy" Will wanted to know what they would be doing today. Rory told him that she thought maybe they could go swimming and have a BBQ. Chris asked could Gigi come over since Karson was gone. Rory laughed "Do you think I need backup?" Will said "no mama, but Gigi will bring Louie and he will play with us in the pool." "Logan will play with you in the pool, but if you want, I will call Grampa to see if he and Gigi want to come to the BBQ." Chris "and Louie?" Rory "yes if Louie is available''. About that time the doorbell rings. Rory tells the boys to scoot upstairs and put on their swimsuits and not to get in the pool until she gets out there.

Rory opened the door to Logan smiling at her. He was carrying several floats and pool toys. Rory laughed, "you think you can bribe them into liking you?" Logan, "do you think it will work?" Rory just shook her head and let him in the house. She told him that they were upstairs changing into their swimsuits and they would be down soon so she could introduce them. She showed him to the patio and offered him some lemon aid. While she was getting the lemon aid, she called her dad and asked if he, Gigi, and Louie would like to come over for a swim and have a BBQ. She said Logan is here and he is meeting the boys for the first time. Her dad said he would check with Gigi, but that sounds like a plan. That way it would not be too awkward for Logan or the boys.

When she returned with the lemon aid Will was talking to Logan and Chris was sitting on the side of the pool with his feet in the water. Rory "hey guys, did you meet Logan?" Will said yeah, he has nephews that might come play with us one day. They might be in our school" Chris said, "probably not, we won't know nobody at school." Rory said, "Chris, you will know somebody, some of the kids from daycare are going to go to Chilton." Chris and Will both, "really, will Karman and Katie go to our school?" Rory laughed, "I'm not sure, I will call their mom and ask before school starts, maybe you'll have a play date. Go to the pool house and get your puddle jumpers. You have to have them in the pool until an adult is in the pool with you. Grab the bag with the pool toys and sunscreen in it too."

Both boys hurried off to the pool house. Rory told Logan that Karman and Katie McCrae belonged to Collins' younger brother Matthew and his wife Jill. Logan said, "oh, now I see why they want them to go to their school." Logan and Rory laughed as the boys came running out of the pool house with the puddle jumper and the toy bag.

Rory, "after spending a little time with them you will realize that Chris is just a bit shy and has a small scar above his eye. He is in the red trunks with the red puddle jumper and Will is more outgoing and will ask a lot more questions. Sometimes I think Chris puts him up to ask. Will is in the Green Trunks with the blue puddle jumper and he has a small scar by his right ear. Yes, the scars came from the same accident, I will tell you about it later."

Rory and Logan helped the boys put on sunscreen and then the puddle jumpers and off they went. Rory told Logan that she invited her dad and Gigi and probably Louie to come out to swim and BBQ. She told him that it was the boys' idea. She also thought it was a good idea. Logan agreed. They sat and drank lemonade and watched the boys till Logan got hot. He asked Rory where he should change, he wants to get into his swimming trunk and get in the pool. She told him to go to the pool house, he can change there. While he was in the pool house, Rory took off her sundress. She had her floral Tommy Bahama Bikini on under it.

She was in the process and putting on sunscreen when Logan walked up. He rubbed it on her back and shoulder and she on his. They both jumped in the pool and began to splash the boys. They were laughing and playing in the pool when all of the sudden a big splash at the end of the slide. Everyone was laughing. It was Louie. Rory and Logan were too busy splashing the boys to notice that Gigi and Louie were there. Louie got Gigi all wet. She was yelling at him for getting her new Jimmy Choo flip flop slides wet. Christopher said, "Gigi did you expect to come to the pool with small boys and not get your shoes wet?" "It wasn't a "small boy" who got them wet," Gigi said as she went to the pool house to change. Logan got out of the pool and shook Christopher's hand. "Logan, it is good to see you. I heard about you selling your business in California for Mega Bucks and coming home to take care of the family business." Logan "yeah, you know how it is, you do what is expected of you. Following the plan. At least I got to venture out on my own before I came home to save the company." Christopher laughed, "Yeah you are preaching to the choir. At least I didn't have to come home and settle down until my Dad died. You know how it is. They make your life miserable, but you miss them when they are gone." Logan said. "Yeah, my grandfather stayed on my case until he died, then I found out that he left all his shares of HPG to me. To say I was shocked would be an understatement."

Rory gets out of the pool and tries to hug her dad, but he steps back. "Don't get me wet yet. Make a list of what we need for the BBQ, and I will run to the store and get it." Rory smiled. "I have a list of stuff right here. Just check in the workshop to see if we have any charcoal. I don't want to use the gas grill today. Burgers and so much better over charcoal."

Christopher checked the workshop on the way out. Hollowing asking the boys and Louie if they wanted Ice Cream for dessert. Everyone yells "Yes" Then Christopher yells "You know it's not a party till Lorelai arrives, call your mom and Luke, make this a family BBQ."

Rory, Logan, Chris, Will, Gigi, and Louie yelled "All Right."
