Gene waited until Eric was exactly 8 months to reveal his surprise. "Eric? Baby? Could you come down to the garage for a few minutes?"
"I suppose so. Give me a few minutes to get there." grumbled Eric.
He finally made it to the garage and walked in. "Whose is that?" he said pointing to the bright red sports car. "Who are you sleeping with?"
"The owner. He's short, married and wonderful in bed. Oh, we have twins together." grinned Gene.
Eric went to slap Gene until it dawned on him that he was the owner. "Oh my God! It's mine?"
"Yes. I had it custom made. Look inside." Gene tossed him the keys.
Eric slid inside to find black leather interior and little cat symbols everywhere. He cried tears of happiness. "I thought you were cheating on me! I'm so sorry!" he sobbed.
Gene let him bask in his moment before slipping into the passenger side. "I love you Eric."
"I love you too." came the choked response.
Eric wiped his tears away and ran his hand over the leather.
He and Gene shared a tender kiss before Eric told Gene to go get the twins so they could all go for a ride.
