One week to the day Tommy was rushed back to the hospital, he finally opened his eyes. It was later in the day so no one was there from his family. He finally was able to focus on the room he was in. He opened his mouth to call out for someone.
He had a tube in his throat which freaked him out so he pressed the call button. A nurse finally came in to see him. She explained to him what was going on. He nodded in understanding and closed his eyes again.
The hospital called Paul to update him on Tommy's condition.
