Tommy was barely awake the next morning when he heard someone say "Da! Da!"
A second little voice chimed in repeating her sister. He quickly sat up and shook Paul awake. "Babe, listen. Two of ours are talking."
"Wha? Huh?" asked a sleepy Paul. They both sat up and listened. Taylor got louder while Hannah continued to call "Da!Da!"
Paul and Tommy hurried to the nursery to listen closer. Aurora had her head bent to the side listening to the babble. She couldn't hear the other two but she reached up to touch their lips. Paul started crying. He went over and lifted all three out of their cribs and placed them on the floor.
Suddenly, Aurora pulled herself up to a standing position. "Paul!" cried Tommy. "Look!"
"I see." "Our babies are seven months old and already talking and standing."
Aurora sat back down soon as her sisters continued babbling.
Paul wiped his eyes and called Gene. As soon as Gene picked up, Paul could hear Draco screaming "NO!" in the background. "Damned kid sounds like a moose." he muttered.
Tommy started laughing as he heard Eric trying to shush Draco.
Finally Paul managed to tell Gene and Eric.
