At the Mensinger-Simmons household, Eric was trying to plan Gene's birthday party even though it was only May. Delilah and Draco were helping by "drawing" invitations in crayons. Jason was eating the crayons and Jenny was "talking " to Eric the whole time.

"Da! "ook! "ook!" cried Draco. "It a' done!" the little boy held up his finished invitation proudly. It consisted of pink squiggly lines and a random circle.

"That's great, Dra! Tell me all about it." said Eric, trying to figure it out.

"Da, dat de phone number." said Draco pointing to the circle. "Dose de address." he said pointing out the lines. "You gibe it to Unca Pau' and Unca " "ommy."

Eric promised he would deliver them later. "I'll take you to give it to them."

Delilah put hers in Eric's hand too. "Da, here! It go too!"

"I know sweetie. I'll take both of them."

"Da! Jason eating crayon!" cried Delilah. "Bad baby!" she scolded. At that, Jason started crying and spit out the crayon. Jenny scolded Delilah for fussing at her twin. Eric had to step in between them.

Gene came in a few minutes later to find one crying son, two fighting daughters and a wide-eyed son sitting in his husband's lap. Picking up Jenny and Jason, he carried them into the kitchen while Delilah stuck her tongue out at all of them.

Despite trying not to laugh, Eric snickered. "Dede, let's clean up, okay?"

Delilah crossed her arms and stomped her foot. "You definitely have Gene's temper." laughed Eric.

"Mine?! She acts just like Paulie when he has a temper fit." chuckled Gene.

"Nah, she's your daughter through and through." shot back Eric. "Jenny's got my temperament while the boys have our softer side."

Delilah was now happily helping Jenny clean up the mess while Jason headed to play with his blocks and Draco asked for a snack.

In the kitchen, Draco snacked on a peanut butter sandwich while Gene finished off half a cake.
