Two days after Tommy's breakthrough, he was released to go home. He was too thin to wear most of his clothes so Paul had to take him shopping. Whereas Tommy used to love shopping, this time he didn't seem to care.

Paul quietly picked things out for him while keeping an eye on him. "Tom, let's go get a pretzel. The kind with cheese."

"Sure." Tommy plodded along just staring at the floor. He sat down when Paul patted the seat next to the fountain. "Open up, baby." Paul patiently fed him the pretzel. He wondered if Tommy was completely weaned from the powerful drugs he had been on in the hospital.

"Tom, here. Drink some water."

Mechanically Tommy swallowed the water and ate a bit more pretzel. Looking up, he saw people staring at the two of them. "Paul, I-I-I wanna go! I need to!" He started having a panic attack. Paul quietly helped him stand up and led him to the mall lounge area. "Sh, it's okay. Just take some deep breaths."

Tommy was shaking and pale. He bit down on his bottom lip to keep from crying. He pulled his oversized hoodie around him tighter and tried to hide. Paul was finally able to calm him down and get him to the car.
