Paul was waiting on his husband when Tommy came down. He was wearing a long sleeve cotton t-shirt and shorts. He had completely forgotten the long cut on the back of his left leg that was now completely in view. He hadn't wrapped it in awhile either.

"Thomas Cunningham Thayer-Stanley are you aware you have a cut on your leg?" "Did you forget to hide it from me?" "What other places do you have them?"

"I thought we were walking, not playing interrogation." snapped Tommy. "You know what, I'm not going."

He turned to go back inside but Paul stopped him. "No." "I want to spend time with you." He refused to let go of Tommy's hand. "Please don't walk away."

Tommy shrugged Paul's grip loose and stalked off in front. Paul began pushing the stroller. He decided it would be best to let Tommy calm down first. Soon he saw Tommy head back towards him. "Let me push for awhile." Tommy took Paul's hand in his. "I'm sorry."

Paul kissed him and told him that everything would be okay. "You and I are a team. We will get through this together."

Tommy nodded all the while knowing that if cut one more time it would be too deep to recover from. He gripped the stroller handle tightly to keep from reaching for the blade in his short pocket.
