Paul was asked to step out into the hallway.  He followed the doctor to a lounge area and sat. "You don't look pleased."

Dr. Eason shook his head and sat across from Paul. "Your husband has an ulcer which was brought on by an excessive amount of stress. Would you like to fill me in on anything that could possibly have caused it?"

Sighing, Paul reluctantly told Dr. Eason about Tommy's fears over Hannah, Aurora and Mady. "I'm partially deaf so I understand the concern. As far as Hannah is concerned, I'm her father. Yes, I know Tommy slipped up, but I WILL NOT ever hold it over his head nor will I hate her for it."

"I'm not suggesting that, Mr. Stanley. I'm suggesting that Tommy go to therapy-"

"Tom was sexually assaulted in therapy. I don't think he's going to go back."

The doctor gave Paul a few suggestions before excusing himself to go back to his office. Paul headed to the cafeteria for coffee before going back to the room.

Tommy was still sleeping when Paul came in. Leaning over to kiss Tommy's cheek, Paul sipped on his coffee while writing on a notepad. He was trying to come up with ways to de-stress their lives.

Tommy woke up several hours later with a severe headache and stomach cramps. His whimpering alerted Paul. "Baby, you have an ulcer. The medicine you were given will start working in a few minutes. I've been writing down ways to de-stress us, hoping that will help." He leaned over and kissed Tommy on the lips.

"Paul, it's painful."

Soon the pain turned into a dull ache. Tommy managed to drink some milk which seemed to help.

The two of them talked for awhile and worked out some ideas.
