"You will not wear that damned outfit to the baby shower!" Gene told Paul over the phone. "It took Eric and I two hours to calm the twins down after you left."
"Try the rest of the night." mumbled Paul. "You could have told me they were teething."
"That outfit short circuited my brain."
They two of them were planning a baby shower for Tommy while Eric watched the triplets so Tommy could sleep. He had woken up not feeling good either.
They finally settled on a date and time, Paul wanting a mid-afternoon one. "We can have it at the studio." "In two months."
Plans were drawn up so Gene could come up with an excuse to get Tommy to meet him somewhere.
