I Already Suspect

Paul was wondering if Tommy was hiding something. His husband had been overly happy ever since Christmas. He was looking for his credit card in the drawer when he came across a sealed box. Judging from the size of it, Paul wondered if it was a pregnancy test. He shut the drawer when he heard Tommy coming upstairs. "Paul, I..." "What are you looking for?" 

"My credit card." "I can't remember if I left it here or in the kitchen."

"I found it on the coffee table." Tommy handed it to Paul and stood there. "I was going to go pick you out a birthday cake. Do you want anything special?"

"Chocolate. But you knew that."

After Tommy left, Paul started searching the bathroom for other tests. He couldn't figure out why Tommy wouldn't just come out and tell him. The only thought he had was that Tommy was...but not by him.

"No, no, no!" "He did not cheat on you. Stop it Paul!" Paul scolded himself.

Meanwhile, Tommy was at the store. He was now suspecting Paul had found the test. "Why did I leave it there?" He shook his head and went to get a second one. After paying for it, he took it to the bathroom. He was still unsure if he was so he hoped the second one would confirm it. 

Tommy checked it in the car. He was. Wrapping it in a napkin, he put it in the glove box and headed home. 

"Tom, could you come upstairs?" called Paul when he heard the door open. When Tommy entered the bedroom he found Paul in bed, under the covers.

"Paul?"

"You want another baby, so let's make one. Join me."

Tommy joined his husband knowing that if the tests were both wrong, he'd definitely be pregnant again soon. They didn't come out until late evening.

"Paul, you already found the test, didn't you?" asked Tommy once they were in the kitchen.

"Yes, baby. I did. I really just want to make you happy."

Tommy leaned into Paul's chest knowing he had been caught. "I guess that was punishment then for hiding the test?"

"Not punishment, per se, satisfaction. You really enjoyed love making for the first time. I'm so happy."

Tommy couldn't disagree.
