Paul had gotten a message from the police station that he and Tommy needed to come back in. He showed it to Tommy who refused. "Why?" "I just want to move on! Why do I have to keep doing this?"

Paul let him rant for awhile before gently steering him to the bedroom to dress. "We're going and find out what is going on. We'll put this behind us soon."

Tommy pouted but got dressed. Paul dropped the girls off at Gene's with strict instructions not to give them cat food. "By the way, you owe me a bag." he laughed.

At the station, he took Tommy by the arm and walked him in. After checking in, he turned Tommy to face him. "You have to do this, okay?"

"I-I-I'm scared! He hurt me!" whimpered Tommy. "I-I-I can't. He said he'd hurt me again!"

Paul raised Tommy's chin to look in his eyes. "He will do nothing of the sort."

The officer ushered them into his office and closed the door. "We're just letting you know that the therapist will no longer hut you. He was killed trying to escape."

Tommy fainted into Paul's arms. Paul signed off on papers and took Tommy to the car. He laid him in the back seat and covered him up. Suddenly he was hit by the thought that Tommy was possibly carrying the therapist's unborn child. Knowing that wouldn't turn out good, he drove to Gene's.
