"Tom, how'd  you hurt yourself?" asked Paul when the two of them were in the bedroom. "You couldn't have gotten that bruise that quick by just bumping your arm." He took Tommy's arm in his hand and gently looked it over.

Tommy pulled away and looked at the floor. "I hurt it last week but I didn't tell you. I just put make-up over it. I, um, was in the basement and fell. I'm okay. I promise."

Paul shook his head at Tommy. "Tom, really? Are you hiding something from me?" "Look babe, if you're seeing someone else and they're hurting you, let me know. I'm not holding you here. "

"D-d-does t-t-that mean you want a divorce?" asked Tommy fearfully. "I-I-I went to get some coffee last week and I ran into.....and now I'm bruised. " "I didn't do anything."

"No, I don't want a divorce. I want you to be happy."

"Paul, Hannah's having two more siblings. They purposely told me and now I feel awful. I tried to tell....to stop rubbing it in and he grabbed me and held on tightly while he...I ran off and never got my coffee."

"Baby, did he force you again? "

"No, he just held my wrist while he kissed me against the building. His "friend" just let him do it." "I'm sorry."

"Hey, come here. Don't cry, okay?" Paul held his husband until he could get him to calm down. "Let's go to bed. Is this why you've been trying so hard to get pregnant again? Do you think the only way I'll love you is by carrying my child ?"

"I-i-if I stay pregnant you won't throw me out." admitted Tommy.

Paul sighed and took Tommy in his arms. "If we never have any more children, I'll still and always love you."

Pulling Tommy on top of him, Paul made him look at him. "I. LOVE. YOU."

Tommy leaned down to kiss Paul and was rolled to his back. "We aren't leaving each other. EVER. Got it, Tom?"

"Yes." "Could we have another?"

"I'll think about it. In a year." stated Paul firmly.

Tommy had to be contented with that answer.
