"They replied with a what?" Suruchi asked, her voice in the highest pitch

"They sent a rejection, mom, calm down" Anna replied, shaking her head at her mom's antics

"How could they? On what basis?" Suruchi asked

"They mentioned how they belonged to a rather high class family, it was kinda discriminating so you wouldn't want to know much" Anna replied, shrugging her shoulders

Suruchi huffed out in annoyance when Kongpob's footsteps made her jump up to her feet which startled the other, who only needed some food

"It's a rejection" Suruchi informed

"Oh, alright" kongpob replied casually, continuing his journey towards the kitchen

"I will find him a guy hundred times better than this one, don't you worry, Rojanapats" Suruchi smirked proudly

"Mom! It's not a competition" Anna hissed

Suruchi eyed her before scrunching up her nose and sticking out her tongue to her daughter as she walked away, leaving Anna surprised

"She is never growing up, is she?" Anna mumbled to herself

Kongpob Sutthalik belonged to a typical middle class family in Bangkok, he had an elder sister, Anna who has been married for quite a while, she is back at her parents house for a week or so while her husband is on abroad meeting trip

Kongpob's parents were under a kind of stress that every parent goes through at one point in their and their kids lives, when it's the correct age to get married and to be specific, it was Kongpob's turn

Suruchi and kerkarai had been searching for the best suitable families all over until someone suggested the Rojanapat family to them, pulling out threads, they found out that one of Kongpob's aunt was a relative in the Rojanapat family as well and there the deal was done

Rojanapat family was a prestigious one, Aroon Rojanapat was the biggest buisness tycoon in the city while his wife Loona Rojanapat owned a restraunt chain and their son Arthit Rojanapat was preparing to take over his father's buisness

The proposal was a great one until it was rejected by Arthit's family, who had no idea about any proposal brought up, his parents declined it even without taking the efforts to pass him the information since they did not think of kongpob to be suitable enough for their son

Kongpob wasn't the most excited and involved in all the preparations and proposals, he wasn't necessary denying marriage and nor was he dying for it, happens or not, it was the same thing for him

"Arthit come here, I have got photos to show you" Loona smiled excitedly

"Mom, I told you I'm not interested in getting married anytime soon, please" arthit replied, walking off to his room

Loona sighed with a pout, putting the photos back on the table, she crossed her arms against her chest, until Aroon took a seat beside her, pulling her close

"He will understand your love and nagging, don't worry, just give him time" Aroon explained

"How much more?" Loona asked, looking up at him

"He is just twenty five, honey" Aroon replied, tilting his head to one side

Loona sighed, placing her head on her husband's shoulder who smiled at her, caressing her hair softly
