"You are getting married" Tibathy announced, her back facing her son

"To whom?" Kongpob asked, his pitch high and surprised

"Arthit Rojanapat, you will be married to him and I thankfully will have to bear with you no more" Tibathy replied glooming

"When am I getting married?" Kongpob asked

"You will be off with him in a week's time" Tibathy replied

"Wow, you are more than just ridiculous, although I'm grateful to not have your company anymore" kongpob argued before walking off

Tibathy scoffed at his retreating back but bloomed with happiness only seconds after at the thought of living her life in peace without the other's company

Kongpob was twenty four years old, his mother had expired due to cancer and three years after her death, his father remarried to the woman he now lives with, Tibathy, his step mother

His father expired in a car crash two years ago and since then his life is nothing better than hell and his mother makes it worse for him from day to day

The situation of being married off to an unknown man didn't seem scary to him, on the contrary it was tempting and appealing, he would love the fact that he was staying away from her, forever

"This is your room, and you can call for me if you need anything, honey" Loona smiled motherly

Kongpob nodded at her before entering his now assigned room as he closed the door behind, dropping his bags on the floor

It had been two days ago that he got married to the stranger named Arthit and it was quite clear that he had no affection for him at all which broke his heart a little, because kongpob was in love

How could he not be? The other was the epitome of beauty, his while marble shiny skin and his ebony silky hair, his beautiful hazel eyes and not to forget the deep dimples he had seen when he found the other smile

Arthit's patents were a dear sight, they were so in love, let it be with each other or with Kongpob, they treated him like a son, a lot more than his step mother ever did and it was delightful for him

Arthit and he resided in different rooms, Arthit's parents didn't want that and tried their best to argue, but the other one was stubborn, one more fact Kongpob seemed to have learned about him

Kongpob lay back on the bed and stared up at the ceiling, sighing in content, he wasn't pretty sure if he life was about to get better or worsen due to the heartbreak, but whatever it would be, he was alright until it dud not include his step mother at all

The next morning came early and kongpob found himself in the kitchen, cooking everyone some breakfast, he had very much expected to have nothing but a small talk with Arthit

Placing the plates on the table, he glanced at the clock, it was already past eight and Arthit wasn't on the table yet, his eyes travelled to the hallway with furrowed eyebrows and Loona sighed

"He already left for work" Loona mumbled

"Oh.." Kongpob's hoped shattered, and it was evident on his face

Aroon glanced at his face and decided to cheer him up, taking a bit of the sandwich he moaned at its delicious taste

"It's amazing, son" aroon commented

"Thank you, dad" kongpob smiled, feeling lighter
