All of the staff were gathered in the pub to celebrate the new year, including Connie who never usually joined the team for drinks.
Jacob handed her a glass of champagne whilst holding one himself as the countdown began.

Iain pulled Rita in for a kiss whilst Max did the same to Zoe.

Everyone agreed then they headed up the part of the roof that Max described as his and Zoe's pre relationship reveal spot.

"No were near as beautiful as you" he replied before gently kissing the top of her head.
Connie turned around in Jacob's arms to face him then placed a gentle kiss on his lips, "I love you" she said softly.

"Would you like to come back to mine for a drink? I can still drive because I've only had one so far" Connie told him.
"Sounds good to me" Jacob said then he took her hand and led her back down to the ground.
They both got into Connie's car then took the short drive to hers.
"What would you like to drink? I've got white wine, red wine, brandy, beer, champagne or coffee if you don't want alcohol" Connie asked Jacob.
"Wow queen bee I never saw you as the beer drinking type" Jacob said.
"Well there's a lot of things you haven't seen" Connie said seductivly as she undid one of the buttons on her blouse allowing it to fall down slightly revealing her black lacy bra.
"Give it time" Jacob said before kissing her gently, "oh and I'll take a beer please" he added.
Connie nodded then took two bottles of beer out of the fridge then used a bottle opener to take the top off before handing one to him.
Connie took Jacob's free hand in hers then led him through to the living room.
They sat on the couch then Jacob wrapped his arm around Connie's shoulders and pulled her close, "you're so beautiful" he whispered.
Connie smiled, "you aren't too bad yourself staff nurse masters" she said as she ran her nails up his chest.
Jacob took her beer from her hand then along with his placed it on the table next to the couch.
He then kissed her and pulled her on top of him with their lips still attached.
He worked on the rest of her buttons then slipped her blouse down her shoulders and off her body before kissing down her jaw to her neck.
