"Something has to give and it can't be me. Either you end it with Jacob or I go back to dad. For good" Grace said sternly.
The played over and over in Connie's mind as she watched him through the mirror of her car. She couldn't loose him.
"Mum, it's me or him" Grace said in an attempt to bring Connie back to reality but she didn't listen and instead flung the car door open and got out.
"Mum what are you doing?!" Grace shouted after her but Connie ignored her and carried on walking towards Jacob.
"Jacob, mate" Max said as he pointed towards Connie.
Jacob chucked the ball over to him then turned around just in time to catch Connie as she fell sobbing into his arms.
"Babe, what's wrong? Talk to me Sweetcheeks" he said as he rubbed her back and held her.
"G-Grace, she she wants me to choose, between you both but I can't. Because I love you" she cried.
"Oh Con, it's alright, we'll sort this out because I love you too" he told her.
"Them two?!" Jez piped up looking at Max and Louise.
"Not the time mate" Jacob said with looking back at him.
"Mum! Didn't you listen to me?! I'll go back to New York if I you don't leave him" Grace shouted as she ran towards Connie and Jacob.
Connie pulled away from Jacob and turned around in anger, "No Grace! Listen to me!That little girl you saw today, getting in that taxi, she doesn't get to see her mum anymore. You're lucky you still have a mum, and Jacob is the reason you do!" she shouted.
"What? I don't understand" Grace said.
"I was kidnapped today! A horrible man tried to inject me with some blood that would of given me a horrible disease, and not only that, I probably would of bled out down in that basement anyway if I'd of been stabbed but do you know who saved me?! Jacob did, he kept me safe!" Connie told her.
Grace looked down feeling guilty as Jacob pulled Connie back into a hug, "I think you owe your mum an apology Grace" he said sternly.
"But that's not the point is it? She won't have time for us both, it's not fair" Grace said.
"Has your mum had time for you ever since you came back?" Jacob asked.
"Yes, I guess so" she replied.
"And she's had time for me too, so you knowing about us isn't going to stop that. In fact she'll have more time because there will be some things that we can do together, all three of us" Jacob said.
"Promise you won't forget me mum?" Grace asked.
Connie left Jacob's arms and bent down to her level, "of course I won't, you're my little girl Grace and I love you. But you need to accept that I love Jacob too and I'm not giving up on him" she said.
Grace threw her arms around Connie without warning and hugged her, "I'm so sorry mum" she said as she hugged her.
"I know, but I also know I should of told you sooner, just like Jacob told me to, so I'm sorry, and Jacob I'm sorry for not listening to you" Connie said.
Jacob took Connie's arm and helped her stand up whilst still holding Grace then he wrapped his arm around her waist, "I love you" he said before kissing her temple.
"I love you too" she replied.
"I'll wait in the car" Grace said as Connie put her down.
She nodded then turned back to Jacob, "thank you" she said softly before kissing him.
Jacob kissed her back, pulling her body closer to his whilst tangling one hand in her hair and sweeping his tongue around her mouth earning several wolf whistles from the others.
They finally pulled apart then Jacob rested his forehead against Connie's as she smiled, "I don't deserve you" she whispered.
"Trust me con, it's me who doesn't deserve you" Jacob replied, "now go home and spend time with your daughter, I'll call you later" he added.
Connie nodded then turned away, keeping hold of his hand for as long as possible before walking over to the car.
She moved into her seat and turned to speak to Grace but found she wasn't there but sat in the back instead.
"What are you doing?" she asked.
"Well Jacob can't exactly sit in the back can he?" she laughed.
Connie smiled and got back out of the car and walked over to him, Max, Jez and Louise, "you coming or not boyfriend?" she asked.
Jacob grinned and wrapped his arm around her waist, "sorry guys, count me out, I've got more important things to attend to" he said.
"Aww aren't you cute" Connie smiled at him.
"Nah, like I said before, it's been a week and a mans got needs. What time does Grace go to bed?" Jacob said with a smirk.
"Oi mr our sex life is private, get in the car" Connie said as she led him away.
He grinned and let go of her waist so they could get in the car then as they both closed their doors they lent in and kissed causing Grace to groan, "what have I let myself in for?" she asked.
