Connie was sat in her office smoothing her top out as she stroked her bump gently.
Jacob walked in and sat down on the couch, "I fount why everyone's been staring at you" he said.
"Why? Do they know about us or the baby? I don't see how, all my clothes are lose fitting, the only reason you can see my bump now is because I've tightened it" Connie said.
"No, you know last night when you turned Cal down?" Jacob asked.
"Yes, what's that got to do with it?" Connie asked him.
Jacob sighed, "well Cal being Cal didn't want everyone thinking he got turned down for no reason, or at all for that matter. He's been telling everyone that he went to a strip club after work, that you were on stage and that he slept with you afterwards" he told her.
Connie's eyes went wide, "what the fuck? Are people actually believing this bullshit?" she practically shouted.
"Seems like it yes, even Ethan's unsure, he says Cal was defiantly with a woman last night from a strip club apparently he called her Connie" Jacob replied.
Connie stood up angrily, "he's going to wish he wasn't born" she growled.
"Hey we'll sort this out, but stress isn't good for the little one babe" Jacob said soothingly but Connie wasn't listening and she stormed out of her office and to reception followed by Jacob.
"Dr Knight! Would you like to explain to me why you think you have the right to spread vile and quite frankly ridiculous rumours about me?" Connie shouted at him causing everyone to stop what they were doing and stare.
"Come on Connie don't deney it, there's nothing to be embarrassed about" Cal said sweetly.
"Embarrassed? I'm not embarrassed I'm damn right angry!" Connie screamed.
"There's nothing wrong with people knowing you like to swing around a pole a bit" Cal said with a smirk.
Connie scoughed, "swinging round a pole was I?" she asked with a fake smile.
"Oh yeah, until I got you to bed" he said.
"Are you sure about that?" Connie said as she lifted up her blouse to reveal her bump.
Jacob smirked as Cal went bright red, "something to say Dr Knight?" Connie asked him.
"Who's is it?" he stuttered.
Connie turned to look at Jacob who stepped forward and took her hand in his, "he would be my son, and Connie would be my fiancée" he told him.
"I'm sorry" Cal said then he walked away clearly embarrassed.
The rest of staff were staring at Connie and Jacob in shock as Jacob pulled Connie into his arms and kissed her passionately for all to see.
"I love you" she said as he rested his forehead against hers.
"I love you too baby" Jacob said whilst placing his hands on her bump.
