"Aah" Jacob groaned as he pulled his t-shirt over his head when getting ready.
Rita looked over and noticed the gauze on his back, "what've you done to your back Jacob?" she asked.
"Huh?" he asked in confusion.
Rita approached him and slowly took off the piece of tape holding back the gauze in place.
"What is it?" Jacob asked but he didn't get a response.
He turned around seeing Rita stood there in shock, "what's on my back?" he asked.
"Jacob what did you do last night?!" Rita asked.
"Piss up with one a bunch of mates for one of their stag do's, why?" he replied.
"Because you have a tattoo on your back!" Rita told him.
"Oh I've got loads of tattoos Rita, anyway what is it of?" Jacob said.
Rita grabbed his phone from the side and quickly took a picture.
"Shit" Jacob muttered as he studied the imagine.
Tattooed at the top of his back was 'Connie ❤️' in quite large letters.
"Do you have any recollection of getting that?!" Rita asked.
"No, although I don't remember much after the second bar. I woke up at my mates, don't really remember how I got there" he confessed.
"You better hope she never sees this!" Rita told him.
"Who sees... Woah" Max said as he noticed Jacob's back when walking in.
"Not a word!" Jacob said quickly.
Max smirked, "permanent then?" he asked.
"Feels pretty permanent" he replied.
"Ay Cal, Robyn, come and check out Jacob's new ink!" He shouted at the door way.
They came in and looked over at him, Robyn soon bursting out laughing.
"Jacob what the hell have you done?!" she said through her laughter.
"Am I the only one who does any work around here?!" Connie snapped as she walked into the staff room.
Rita extremely quickly pressed the gauze back onto Jacob's back but it didn't go completely unnoticed by Connie.
"Another tattoo Jacob?" she asked.
"Oh yeah" Cal smirked earning a glare from Jacob.
"Mind if I take a look?" Connie said.
"My shift starts soon" Jacob responded quickly.
"Come on mate, it'll only take a second" Max said before quickly pulling the gauze off.
Connie's eyes widened as she stood fixed to the spot, "please tell me that doesn't say what I think it says" she stuttered.
"Would you believe me if I said I knew another Connie?" Jacob asked.
"Well do you?" Connie responded.
"No" he told her.
"Then why the hell is my name tattooed on your back?!" she shouted loudly, alerting Zoe and Charlie at the nurses station.
They walked in and Zoe began laughing, "oh Jacob, there would of been easier ways to tell her how you feel! Ways that don't involve permanent body art, just incase it wasn't mutual!" she said.
"How he feels?" Connie asked, raising her eyebrow.
"Zoe!" Jacob said.
"Sorry, I thought she would of worked it out by now" she said.
"Jacob you still haven't told me why my name is tattooed on your back" Connie said.
"Because I'm in love with you ok?!" he said then grabbed his shirt and threw it on over his head.
He walked out but Connie followed and grabbed his arm, "where do you think you're going?" she asked.
"To do my job, I shouldn't of said anything anyway" he replied.
"Yes you should have. I love you too" Connie told him then lent in and kissed him softly.
The staff watched and smiled at one another as Jacob held Connie's waist.
The kiss was slow and passionate and they grinned as they pulled away, "your shift can wait, I'm going to be inspecting your body for more tattoos" Connie grinned as she pulled him towards her office.
