"Let's play a game!" Robyn said as the team sat round the tables in the pub.
"Two truths and a lie?" Max suggested.
"How do you play that?" Connie asked, not very impressed that Jacob had talked her into coming to the pub.
"Take turns in telling everyone three facts about yourself, one has to be a lie. If the majority of people correctly guess which one the lie is then you need to take a shot, if they guess wrong then everyone else has to take a shot"
Jacob explained to her.
They bought another round of shots then began their game.
"Ok, I lost my virginity at 15, never kissed another guy and I've ran a half marathon" Max said.
"Virginity! That's a lie, you were 17!" Robyn shouted.
"Wow! Suprised you held out mate" Jacob smirked at him.
"Everyone in agreement?" Rita said.
A series of 'yes' went around then Max groaned before downing his shot.
"Mrs Beauchamp, have a go?" Robyn said.
Connie nodded, "I have no siblings, I was born in Oxford and I'm dating a member of staff here" she said.
"Third ones a lie, never mentioned a sibling and Oxford seems about right for Connie" Zoe said.
"Yeah, Connie would never sleep one of us!" Cal said.
"Everyone agree then? Dating someone from here is the lie" Robyn said.
Again the majority agreed, apart from Charlie and Jacob who remained quiet but nobody seemed bothered.
Connie smirked, "get drinking then, you're all wrong. I'm from Peckham, not Oxford" she said.
"No way! Who you sleeping with?!" Noel asked in shock.
Jacob looked over at Connie and grinned as she stood up then sat in his lap and began kissing him.
Everyone stared at them in shock as Jacob's hands went down to Connie's bum and hers went around his neck.
Max started wolf whistling at them causing a few others to join in.
Connie pulled away and rested her forehead against Jacob's, "take me home to bed" she whispered.
Jacob grinned and stood up still holding her so she had to put her legs around his waist to stop herself from falling.
"This doesn't look very professional" she laughed.
"Neither did sitting in my lap and kissing me senseless, I want to carry you" he smirked at her.
"Err wait! Since when was this a thing?!" Robyn asked.
"Over a year" Jacob told her.
"How have you managed to keep that quiet?!" Rita asked.
"Very good at keeping secrets" Connie said before kissing Jacob again.
He grinned then they said their goodbyes and headed outside.
"You really can put me down now Jay" Connie said.
"Come on then beautiful" he smiled as he put her down then wrapped his arm around her waist as they walked home.
