Jac walked into the living room where Jonny was sat on the couch with Emma.
"Project Jonnie is on" Jac said.
"Huh? I'm a project now?" Jonny asked.
"Not you, you idiot. Jacob and Connie, they are Jonnie. Or at least they will be when we get them together" Jac told him.
"Right ok, so what's your plan Naylor?" Jonny asked.
"We are going out tonight, Emma needs a last minute babysitter so I'm going to call Connie, you call Jacob. Then we end up with them both here and leave nature to take its course, it's going to happen sooner or later so we may as well give them the push they need" Jac said.
Jac called Connie whilst Jonny called Jacob, and they both agreed to baby sit without knowing the other would be there.
Connie arrived at 7 then just fifteen minutes later Jacob arrived.
"Thanks for doing this mate, Emma's in her room at the moment, playing with her my little ponies probably" Jonny said.
"There's wine and beer in the fridge, snacks in the cupboards and freezer, take out menus on the side, help yourself" Jac said.
"Thanks Jac, have a good night. I'll call you if there's any problems but I'm sure she'll be a little angel" Jacob said.
Jac and Jonny left then Jacob walked down the hall of the flat to Emma's room.
He was confused when he heard giggling and a very familiar voice apart from Emma's from inside.
"Uncle Jacob!" Emma shouted as he opened the door.
"Hey princess, err Connie what are you doing here?" He said.
"I'm baby sitting Emma, what are you doing here?" Connie asked.
"I'm babysitting Emma, Jonny called me" Jacob told her.
"Jac called me, maybe she didn't know he called you" Connie said.
"She does, she knows we are both here because she just thanked me for coming" Jacob told her.
"Emma did your mummy tell you anything about this?" Connie asked the little girl.
"Mama told daddy to call uncle Jacob then it's gonna happen but me don't know what" Emma told her.
"That's interesting, thank you sweetheart. Let's get you ready for bed then we can watch some television for a little bit ok?" Connie said.
"Ok Auntie Connie" Emma said before pulling her pyjamas out from under her pillow.
"Do you want me to make you a hot chocolate Emma?" Jacob asked her.
"Yes yes yes! With marshmallows, pwease uncle Jacob" Emma said.
"Alright princess, you can have marshmallows. Connie do you want one?" Jacob asked her.
"Err yes please Jacob" Connie said then she watched him leave the room.
She left the room a few minutes later with Emma who was wearing her pyjamas, dressing gown, slippers and cradling a doll.
She switched the TV on for her selecting Disney channel then joined Jacob in the kitchen.
"You alright with this? Cause I can leave if you want" Jacob said.
"No, stay. I could do with the company" Connie told him.
"Alright, I might order a pizza when Emma's in bed anyway if you like" he said.
"Sounds good, but no anchovies, I hate them" Connie said making a disgusted face.
"Whatever you want sweetcheeks" Jacob said whilst picking up a mug of hot chocolate and handing it to her before picking up the other two.
Connie took Emma to bed a little under an hour later then came back to find Jacob on the phone to a pizza company.
"Pizza should be here in half an hour, ham and pineapple" Jacob said as Connie sat down next to him.
"Ok" she said.
"So Mrs B, any idea why we are both here?" Jacob asked her.
"Seems we've been played" Connie replied.
"Looks like it, but why?" Jacob said.
"I don't know, but it's Jac, she has weird reasons for doing everything" Connie told him.
"True" Jacob said as he scrolled through the movies on Netflix.
They settled on watching Annabell whilst eating the pizza until half way through the movie when Connie fell asleep across Jacob.
He wrapped his arms around her then moved her head slightly to make her more comfortable then switched off the TV.
"You're so beautiful" he whispered as he stroked her hair.
"Jacob" Connie mumbled as she opened her eyes.
"Sorry sweetcheeks did I wake you?" he said softly.
"No, but I heard what you said" she said as she sat up.
"That you're beautiful? I'm glad you heard that" he told her.
"Why?" Connie asked him.
"Because I meant it, you are beautiful. And funny and witty, scary as hell at times but you're also kind hearted. Connie I love you" Jacob said.
Connie looked down at their hands which were now joined then back up at him.
"I love you too Jacob" she said softly before leaning in and gently kissing his lips just as the front door flew open.
They pulled apart and looked back to see Jac and Jonny smirking at them.
"Well it seems you two have had a good time" Jac said.
"I've got a bone to pick with you Naylor, you set us up" Connnie said.
Jac smirked, "you can thank me later, or tomorrow morning if you get the chance, don't worry you can leave your car here Connie. Catch my drift" she said.
"Oh we catch the drift, I might just do that though, if that's ok with you muscles" Connie said.
"It's fine with me sweetcheeks, great infact" Jacob said.
"In that case are you ready to go?" She asked.
"Very" he replied.
"Thanks for looking after Emma, has she been ok?" Jac said.
"She's been an angel, wasn't a problem at all" Jacob said.
"That's my girl" Jac said with a grin.
"No way she takes after her daddy for that" Jonny said.
"Shut up Maconie, you too get off, wouldn't want to keep you from each other any longer" Jac said.
"Ok, thanks Jac, I'll see you tomorrow" Connie said as she put her coat on.
"Come on sweetcheeks" Jacob said as he wrapped his arm around her waist.
"Have fun, but don't do anything we wouldn't do" Jonny said.
"You have Emma, just remember how she got here. She wasn't delivered by a stalk" Connie said as she opened the front door.
"True" Jac said with a laugh.
They all said their goodbyes then headed out to Jacob's car.
"Bed or shower?" he asked Connie with a smirk when they arrived at his.
"Neither. Right here, right now" Connie told him as she pulled on his belt.
"Well I'm not refusing that" Jacob said before pulling her top over her head then pushing her against the wall.
They stripped each other of their clothes then Jacob slid into Connie quickly causing her to scream out and start panting.
He pounded into her forcefully groaning as he did so until they both came together.
"Now the bed" Connie panted as Jacob wrapped his arms around her.
He kissed her then picked her up in his arms and carried her upstairs, leaving their clothes and shoes on the floor in the hallway.
