Connie walked out of her office ready to leave then out into reception.
She spotted Jacob and smiled to herself before walking up to him and kissing him.
Jacob was confused as hell but didn't want her to think that he wasn't interested so wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her back letting his tongue slide into her mouth.
The rest of the staff were staring at them with wide eyes as Connie pulled away with a smile on her face, "good night staff nurse masters, good night everyone" she said before turning on her heel and walking out of the ED.
Jacob stood there laughing shaking his head as Max, Cal, Lofty, Robyn and Zoe surrounded him.
"Care to explain? How long has this been going on for?" Max asked.
"From what I know about ten seconds" Jacob said.
"You mean you aren't together?" Lofty said.
"No, I had no idea what just happened" Jacob said.
"So you're telling us that you two just ate each other's faces off because Connie felt like it?" Zoe said and Jacob nodded, "now if you don't mind I have a bottle of bear with my name on it, see you tomorrow" he said then he patted Cal on the shoulder and walked away.
Connie was leaning against the wall of the hospital when Jacob walked out and towards his car.
"Does that offer for dinner still stand or do we need to skip straight to desert?" she asked him seductively.
"Someone's in a good mood, wanna tell me that all that was in aid of?" Jacob replied.
"Maybe I'm bored, or maybe I, err, well maybe I love you" Connie said.
He lifted her chin with his hand and looked her in the eyes, "I love you too" he whispered before pushing his lips onto hers.
Connie wrapped her arms around his neck dropping her bag to the floor and pulled his body closer to hers.
He worked his way down her jawline to her neck which he began to suck and bite whilst slipping one hand up her shirt and massaging her breast.
They were completely unaware that Cal, Ethan, Robyn, Max, Lily, Zoe, Lofty and Dylan had noticed them as they left.
"Good god you'd think the man had never been fed before" Dylan said.
"Oh god avert your eyes, her hands moving downwards" Robyn said.
"Against a hospital wall, really" lily said.
"Oi you two, people are trying to die here!" Cal shouted over as Lofty and Max wolf whistled.
Connie pulled away and rested her head on Jacob's shoulder so she could see her staff looking over and smirking.
"So much for that beer Jacob!" Zoe shouted.
"Would you like a beer at mine?" Connie asked him whilst ignoring her staff.
"I never took you for the beer owning type Mrs B" Jacob said.
"I'm from Peckham Jacob, and you can have desert with it" Connie pointed out.
"True, in that case sweetcheeks, let's go" he said as he put his hand into her pocket and took out her car keys but she grabbed them back.
"You're not driving my baby" she said.
"You'll let me one day" he said before linking his arm through hers as she picked up her bag.
"Mrs B and Jacob getting it on!" Robyn shouted.
"If he messes this up then his life won't be worth living" Ethan said
"Yeah he'll be done for, he'll be cleaning out the comodes for life" Cal added.
"Good night everyone" Connie said before she and Jacob got into her car.
"Sooo, drinks anyone? Get the images of where exactly her hand went to, out of my head" Max suggested.
"Good idea" Zoe said.
"Although we used to have meaningless sex so I don't see why they can't" Max said.
"Actually I don't think it's so meaningless" Lofty pointed out.
"Yeah, they clearly love each other but please let's never talk about Connie and Jacob's sex life again" Zoe said.
"Oh agreed, first rounds on me" Cal said before they all set off towards the pub.
