Hi guys! This is the last oneshot in this book! I know! Sad! But I'll explain in the next chapter. Picture above isn't mine.

Hiccstrid is probably really old here! Short and fluffy. Enjoy.

At Last. After all, the kisses and laughter and tears, they finally got there. They finally reached the finish line. The endgame, the final chapter.

Hiccup and Astrid, old and grey, sat together inside their hut, watching as their grandchildren played happily outside. Astrid leaned her head on his shoulder and placed her hand on his heart once more.

At last, they have gotten this far. They have gone theough thick and thin. Wars and battles. Picnics and dates. Loss and love. The have gone through it all, together.

Hiccup sighed softly and draped an arm around her shoulders, bringing her closer. She hummed in content and smiled up at her husband.

At last, they had done everything they needed to do. Become a dragon rider and stop the war. Find more dragon species and stop the dragon hunters. Become chief and general then chief and chieftess, making Berk a better place. Be parents and have a happy life. All of their goals, achieved.

Hiccup smiled back at his wife and pressed a kiss to her forehead lovingly. She laughed softly and closed her eyes, resting against him. He closed his eyes as well and placed his head on hers.

At last, from being shy, young, and small, they were now stronger and wiser. The more time they spent with each other, the more they grew. The more they grew, the more they fell in love.

The old couple held each other in their arms, listening to their hearts beat in sync and the crackle of the fireplace in front of them. They smiled as they slept, being at peace.

At last, they had found their home. After the adverntures and journeys, they had found the home they desired. From afar, their life was boring and dull. But to them, it was bright and happy. They found a home in each other and finally found peace.

Hiccup and Astrid, both happy and at peace, slowly faded away into the light. In each other's arms, in their cozy home, at the end of their exciting lives.

Because at last, they had what they wanted and all they needed. At last, they had peace and each other. At last.
