This works for the most part and she seems like a pretty well thought out character. There is only really a flaw in logic here though, swimming doesn't make you skinny and is in fact an incredibly athletic sport (coming from a previous swimmer) and if anything builds up body mass and muscles, which can be shown in any professional swimmer.
Her personality is pretty good but I suggest making it more detailed and longer so she feels more fleshed out.
I know that swimming is clearly a big part of her character, but try your best not to make it everything she has going for her. A lot of people swim professionally and put a lot of time into it, but that isn't who they are. So, maybe figure out some traits and important things outside of swimming.

I like this a lot. These relationships are well done and make sense. All I have to say is make sure that her parents dying have an effect on her because I'm sick of characters having their parents die and nothing come of it. However, I do like the irony in their cause of death. Backstory

Oooo, this sounds pretty cool but definitely do research into chlorine allergies because, ironically, I was actually a swimmer with mild chlorine allergy, and really all it does is make people sneeze (in every case I've seen anyway) maybe some mild skin irritation. I could be very wrong here but in short just definitely do your research.
Being chosen to go into the Olympics at a young age does happen a fair bit but it's very hard, so make sure this is incredibly thought out and leveled out.

Since there's some fives in here definitely balance them out with a one or lower them.
Final thoughts I really like this character she seems pretty well thought out and balanced. A few tweaks here and there could go a long way with this character, but apart from that, really good job!!
