Description + Book Cover: 2.5/5

Books are often not supposed to be judged by its cover. But the effort you put into your cover allows people to see how much your treasure your book.

I would suggest you make a cover that is appropriate, showing your readers a glimpse of what your book holds.

You description is an attempt that doesn't not match the credibility your poems carry. So, I recommend you fix that too.

No need to be forward with writing a description, don't be informal in writing especially for poetry. Keep it dramatic, keep it real and allow readers a glimpse of what you want to showcase.

Writing Style: 3.5/5

Your writing seems forced, almost as if you're matching the rhyming scheme and trying to convey your emotions at the same time.

While I did find myself liking some phrases of your poems, most of them lack the natural dramatics your poetry writing lacks as a whole.

To forgo this issue, I suggest you read more poems, build your vocabulary and try writing more as a whole- even small paragraphs covering your mood at a certain point of time.

Poetry writing isn't something that one can develop in a day, it takes tremendous amount of effort and interest to make yourself better.

You're on the right path, I think you just need to put in more effort as a whole.

Grammar + Punctuation: 4/5

In this aspect, you've exceeded formidably, I hope you continue the maintenance of appropriate punctuation.

As of grammar, I would highly suggest your begin to expand your range of vocabulary- rephrasing with more unique and complicated ones.

Aesthetic Sense + Mood Setting: 2.5/5

Your aesthetic/ mood of the poem can be effectively articulated to the reader with a formidable writing style and good vocabulary.

I would say that although your poems did lack certain flair, your poems were nice to read. But I wasn't able to empathise with any of them considering the words used were just not enough.

The problem is, once we begin writing monotone, rhyme schemed poems, we tend to forget the crucial point of writing poetry in the first place-expression. It can be feelings, a situation or voicing out your thoughts on a ceratin issue. Whatever it is, every line in the poem must hold a meaning. Every poet has went through this stage, it takes a lot of reading, writing and learning to master it.

OVERALL SCORE: 12/20
