it was pouring with rain in beacon hills and you and stiles were standing outside of the school after studying late, both of you unsure of where your relationship was going anymore.
you finally break the silence, "can i just ask you one thing?"
"anything." he said, the rain falling slowly around you both.
"when did you fall out of love with me?" you asked, feeling your heart breaking.
he glanced at you slowly, his honey brown eyes gazing into yours, "that's the thing, y/n. i never did. i have loved you all this time and always will."
you blinked, confused, "you... still love me?"
a small flicker of a smile appeared on his lips, "i never stopped," he sighed, "i don't know what happened between us, y/n... but i really want to give this another go."
"me too, stiles. i can't lose you after everyone else we've lost." you replied as he slowly laced his fingers with yours.
he smiled, pressing a kiss against your forehead, "let's go home, y/n."
