hearing voices in her head was something lydia had gotten used to now, but one thing she hadn't gotten used to was your death.
one day whilst she was sat alone at home she heard your voice saying her name.
"lydia?"
she stopped for a moment, looking around in confusion, "y/n?"
"don't look for me, i'm not there...i just wanted you to know i'm at peace now, and i want you to find someone who makes you happy and loves you so much like i do." you didn't get the chance to tell her when you were dying so now you were in your own way. you knew lydia could hear voices of the dead so this was your only way to contact her.
lydia's emerald green eyes glazed over with tears, "i miss you so much, y/n."
"i know, and i miss you too— but i need you to move on, for me and for yourself." you insisted.
lydia nodded although she knew you couldn't see her, "okay... i promise, i love you."
"i love you too, good bye, lydia." you said before finally leaving her mind.
