you finally pluck up the courage to ask jordan on a date, since you'd been crushing on him since you started working at the sheriffs station.
"parrish, can i ask you something?" you asked, sitting in the chair in front of his desk.
"sure, y/n, what's up?" he replied.
"how would you feel about going on a date? with me?"
"that's hilarious, but i can't date my co-worker, y/n... no matter how pretty and sweet you are." he said.
despite the rejection you stared at him, "you think i'm pretty?"
he scoffed, "come on, y/n, you're the prettiest girl i've ever laid eyes on."
a slight blush crept onto your cheeks as his green eyes flickered across your face.
"you know what... off the record, when we're off duty, if you were to ask me i'd totally say yes." he smirked.
with the slight hope that he gave you, the next time you saw him not on duty you did exactly that- and he finally accepted.
