when you and nolan talk to coach after lacrosse practice, he can't help but stare at you and admire how beautiful you were.
"great game today kids! and nolan... will you ask y/n out already? i'm sick of staring at your puppy dog eyes." he groaned.
nolan immediately looked away, before looking back at you as coach left.
"s-sorry about that..." nolan stuttered nervously, "i just couldn't get over how beautiful you looked— well you always look beautiful but..."
"oh, nolan," you chuckled softly, "you can pick me up at eight, okay?"
"o-okay." he nodded, feeling relieved that he didn't even have to stumble through asking you out on a date, but the hardest part was getting ready for the date that night.
