whilst running through the woods towards the sound of your screams, stiles and lydia catch sight of you in the middle of a clearing looking around frantically. neither of them could see the ghost riders but they knew immediately that they were surrounding you.
stiles stopped lydia from running towards you, pulling her back.
"we have to rescue her, stiles! she's our best friend!" lydia whisper-yelled so as not to draw the attention of the ghost riders.
"we can't lyds, we'll have to find another way." stiles said, he desperately wanted to help you but they'd learned that it was impossible to stop the ghost riders from taking their other friends.
they watched as you disappeared as the riders cracked their whips and rode off deeper into the woods.
lydia retreated into stiles' arms, "we have to remember her." she said as he wrapped his arms around her protectively.
"we will, lyds... we will." stiles said, repeating it to himself over and over so that he wouldn't forget.
