"y/n... you're here." he whispered softly.
"of course i am." you took hold of his hand and squeezed it lightly.
his eyes watered slightly, you'd never seen him cry.
"will you hold me?" he asked quietly.
he moved over slightly so that you could lay next to him, you wrapped your arms around him carefully and rested your head on the pillow.
"thank you for being here."
"i'll always be here for you, isaac," you replied, pushing his hair back from his eyes, and pressing a kiss against his forehead, "always."
