whilst he was waiting for his test results back from melissa, you sat and waited with him.
"what if i have it, y/n?" he asked tearfully.
"stiles..." you replied quietly, not knowing what to say to make him feel better, "if you have it we'll find a cure, okay? i'd go to the end of the earth to help you."
tears trickled down his cheeks as you took hold of his hands.
"you would?" he asked.
"i would do anything for you, stiles. i love you." you replied.
before he could reply melissa came into the room and smiled, "it's good news, stiles... you're fine."
you let out a sob of relief as stiles buried his face in your hair as he hugged you, "i'm okay..." he repeated.
"i'm so glad you're okay." you said, hugging him tightly.
"i'll leave you two alone." melissa said before leaving the room.
"thank you for being here for me, y/n." stiles said.
"you don't have to thank me, i'll always be here for you."
stiles couldn't find words, instead he simply held you close to him and kissed your forehead gently.
