at a bonfire that the pack was hosting, scott and stiles couldn't help but mess around and joke with each other.
"hey, have you ever thought about asking y/n out?" scott asked, knowing of his crush on you.
"what? no!" stiles said, "i could never..."
"i overheard her telling lydia she thinks you're cute." scott grinned, noticing his best friend immediately perk up.
"you did? she thinks that?" he asked.
"yeah! and now's your chance to ask her out... she's right over there." scott said, nodding towards you standing by yourself by one of the bonfires.
"okay... i've got this." stiles said to himself as encouragement.
"yeah you do, bud!" scott exclaimed, watching as his best friend finally went to talk to you, it seemed to go well as he came back with a huge grin on his face.
"she said yes!" stiles yelled a little too loudly.
"i heard," scott chuckled, "i'm happy for you."
"now we just have to get you a date with allison so we can double date!" stiles said excitedly.
scott laughed, "maybe."
