when he spots you at a club, he can't take his eyes off of you— he'd seen you around school but he'd always been too shy to speak to you, but something about the loud music and glaring lights made him confident enough to talk to you.
"hey!" corey yelled over the blaring music, "y/n, right?!"
"huh?" you turned around to see corey bryant, a cute boy from your school, "yeah! that's me!"
"wanna dance?!" he shouted so that you could hear him.
"i'd love to!" but your voice was too quiet to be heard so you just nodded and took hold of his hand leading him to the dance floor.
you danced with him all night, not even realising when the club began to close down.
when the music finally stopped corey held your hand as you walked outside, he looked down shyly before looking over at you, "so, uh, that was fun."
"yeah, we should do this again sometime— not the club thing... just hanging out, together." you said.
corey smiled, you always thought he looked cute when he smiled at you in the hallways at school, "i think that's a great idea."
"i should go, but i'll see you school, yeah?" you asked, knowing that you'd be spending a lot more time with him in school.
"of course." he smiled.
