nolan walked into the locker room at the wrong time, seeing you struggling to control yourself as scott tried to help you change back to human.
"you're one of them?!" he asked in shock.
"nolan-" you growled, curling your fists, "you have to leave."
"no." he shook his head, ignoring the glare scott gave him.
"i- i didn't tell you because i didn't want you to hate me... and i didn't want you to get hurt." you admitted, your heart sinking as you saw the look of disgust on your best friends face.
"i can't believe you'd do this to me..." he shook his head, turning around and leaving.
"nolan, please!" you called out as scott held your arm.
"you can't go after him, y/n... not like this." scott said.
you shrank back against the locker in pain, "i just wanted to keep him safe..."
"i know," scott said sadly, "just give him time."
you gave him time, months, but nolan couldn't even look at you. it hurt more than you wanted to admit to, even your new friends in the form of the mccall pack could help you.
